I have tons of respect and admiration for you guys. I raised 6 children & 2 big dogs in a pretty large house & it was pretty much always chaos. You guys are pulling it off in a motorhome & are so organized & harmonic & just beautiful. I love the kids individual bedrooms. It's nice & very important for everyone to have their own little space & you guys nailed it! Every square inch of your home, inside and out, is gorgeous & so useful. No wasted space at all. Thank you for reminding everyone that you don't need a bunch of space & stuff to raise a happy, well adjusted family. I wish I had figured that out when my kids were little. Happy travels & God bless! 💕💕💕

More families that 'can' have kids should also adopt. It's pure positive energy for the world. This looks like a great place to grow up. I plan to live this way when I retire (as early as possible).

Except on another channel a married Christian couple were discriminated against when they wanted to adopt a child because they already had their own biological children.

So true. I was also adopted, but as an only child. My second cousin was also adopted and her siblings were their parents biological kids and my cousin also adopted

Agreed! Im adopted❤️
@HealthCoachHayley2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the country but in the USA there is an astronomical backlog of families wanting to adopt. Around 2,000,000 families are essentially waitlisted to adopt. There’s no shortage of that. The foster system is really sloppy and disconnected making adoption via foster excessively difficult and hard to obtain. I agree with more should adopt but there aren’t enough kids for the families waiting now, contrary to what the media sometimes presents.

One of the most commonly asked questions! (Or if not asked, I’ll bet it’s usually thought 😆) I’ll say it this way: our kids sleep rather soundly from about 8pm to 7:30am every night; we may have a small space, but we have more time together than we ever have in any other lifestyle we’ve lived so far! 🙂
@spicybrown752 жыл бұрын
@@somegrandcommotion8121 what do you guys do for a living?
@somegrandcommotion81212 жыл бұрын
@@spicybrown75 we do real estate hustling 🙂 we did talk a lot about that in the interview but unfortunately they didn’t include it in the final edit. I understand there’s not time to include very much! But I’m surprised that you are the first person to ask- it seems like it is one of the biggest questions about this lifestyle, at least one that I ask the most often- how does one make money while traveling? For us, living on the road has allowed us to be even more creative financially. For instance, we’re currently in Memphis doing work on a rental we have here, which, when we lived stationary, we would have been paying someone else to do. One of my favorite things about this past year of travel has been getting to meet other families and solo travelers and seeing the ingenuity with which many of them live, particularly in the world of finance. It’s inspiring!

I'd love this kind of lifestyle. But I'm not mechanically inclined, and living in Canada, the cold weather (below freezing like 6 months of the year!), I'd probably freeze to death if one thing with my power or heating went wrong. Maybe some day I'll find a guy who knows more about that stuff than I do and who is up for adventure!

This is a fantastic home in so many ways that I just can't list them all. And such a nice family. But I have two questions. 1) those kids arent going to be small for long. What happens when they grow too big for those little bunks. And there are four such kids! 2) do they have a smaller vehicle for shorter excursions? They can't lug that massive thing every time you got to go to the store!
@BlueLuna5 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how practical it is moving forward like that. I think the current trend of throwing your kids in a tiny bed bedroom is weird. I mean if it was a regular house and the baby lived in the closet people would question it. But since it's an rv it's different.

@Therulerof722 жыл бұрын
It's no problem to be concerned about the beds. It seems like every 10th comment is people venting their concern. The fact is when we built that setup it was one year previous to the making of the video. We knew then that it was a limited timestamp on that working out. We've now converted the beds entirely and use an additional loft over the master bed and the bigger girls usually sleep on the futon out front. We're planning to convert the area over the driver seat into another loft bed as well. ~Jason For now we haven't been moving much as we've been full-time campground hosts for the summer into the fall. A perfect opportunity to earn a little money, let the kids run around and swim in the river every day and avoid the high fuel prices! ~Jason

I agree, Karen, seems like the kids don’t mind the limited space nearly as much as the parents do! 😅 If we are present and engaged they are pretty much happy.
