Sadly when my dad passed the teens to my knowledge really didn’t receive much in the way of charges and my mom was too broken and dealing with trying to raise 4 little ones. She was never really the same after loosing him. She passed when I was 21 from inflammatory breast cancer. I like to think of them being reunited now. But in this day in age when taxis, ride shares, buses, Uber,Lyft, cell phone etc being so available there is honestly NO EXCUSE for drinking and getting behind the wheel. There just isn’t. Why run the risk - if you look from a financial standpoint alone - bail, attorney fees, fines, loss of license, increased insurance costs (if you can find someone to insure you) and the potential loss of your livelihood - just why? This is without figuring the cost if you have an accident and the is property damage, injuries and if someone passes ???? You are pretty much just done. The evidence will be there and you will be charged and you will go to jail if you are lucky but more than likely - prison. You will be a convicted felon. (At least here in the US). Let that sink in. These are the hard cold facts of what can happen when you drive drunk.

From the way things developed, it sounded to me like it was the stepdad that was the main enabler with (what I assume is his brother) the uncle's help. OP's mom probably went along because she is the sort to not want to create confrontations and keep the peace, a weaker personality, so took her cues from her husband. Further she as the stepmother to Paula, was probably a little afraid of seeming partial in favor of her own daughter, something I'm sure stepdad would certainly have accused her of being. But even mom had her limits, and when it came down to it left the steps to their fates. Which no doubt will be pretty bad if stepdad doesn't wise up soon- though it doesn't sound like he will.

I work as a security officer and one day about a year ago one of the supervisors comes up and tells me to pull up a camera at such time, so I did. Lo and behold, we see one of the temps gunning it on a forklift before he loses control, hits one support beam before he spins and stops by slamming into a second beam. No one was hurt fortunately (although they could have been) However, story doesn't end there. Supervisor tells me that temp won't be returning and I assume it's because he's fired, nope. This guy stops the forklift, steps down, and quits on the stop. When the supervisor says they need him to take a drug test, and it's standard for any accident he refuses, says he's high as shit, and just quits on the spot and leaves. Not sure if that actually let him avoid a drug termination on his resume, but I just thought that was funny (again, only because no one was hurt)

And Mark's last story is a hard lesson on why you don't whip your sub over an object that you care about (and you also practice your aim before going full force). 😂You can also get furniture specifically designed for bending someone over and giving you a good target to aim at (among other things) but come on... at least use something that is less expensive than a leather sofa! A footrest. A beanbag. A pouffe. An ottoman.

I just imagined bean bag beans exploding all over the place

@@tishwho I would be a nightmare, for sure... but *still* better than having to call up the insurance company and explain that you ruined your expensive leather sofa by misjudging your aim with a whip. 😂

Working through a migraine and playing catch up. Loved your crazy sofa story! Thanks so much Mark 🥰

OP is going to have a lot of proof of Paula's character that she's willing to steal cars and is such a bad driver. The woman is a menace who is going to kill someone.

I'm so sick of family telling the victim to be the bigger person. Stepsister needs to have a permanent ban on driving and her licence revoked. Story 2: OP is a doormat. The boyfriend is a druggie who's mad at a restaurant bill. What a loser.

Mark, you have definitely lead an interesting life. I love hearing about the weird things you have encountered in the workplace and in the neighborhood. People be crazy, that's for sure.

Always love a good Mark tangent I always take away something from it. If today's tangent has taught me anything, it's that the internet has truly ruined me. The second he mentioned a damaged leather couch I immediately knew it was some sort of sexcapade.

Just got off work from my part-time job and happy to see a new Mark video. And almost done with that rainbow blanket I showed you on Twitter the other day 😊

"No hate if you are into a bit of whipping" Hahahah, I died!🤣 Oh Mark, always so considerate and polite, it clashes so perfectly with dominatrix stories.😂

should name the mom, step dad and step uncle as accomplices to the theft.

Story 1: NTA OP needs to sue her ass, her insurance likely requires charges to be filed before they pay for the damages anyway. Parents are the bad people for raising OP's sister to be like this.

That story about the boyfriend who lost his job, oh my word, he is an awful person leave that fool.

I gotta say it - MN ur stories are always the highlight for me! As for the leather sofa, my mind went straight to the hubs in leather & a ball gag, like the dude outta Pulp Fiction 🤣

Oh so the mother is ok with Op being treated like crap by stepdad and stepsister, but when they turn on her, that's when she gets a divorce Lol

Well, at least she's finally realized how bad the situation is. Still, it shouldn't have taken her being attacked by her stepdaughter to realize how bad the situation is.

Story 1: NTA. She shouldn't drive and should lose her license & go to jail for theft; etc.

I remember that story Mark about the sofa. You told us some time ago and you said that the guy on the phone closed his eyes and then said “that’s something we can fix then“. I can’t believe he would write that down in the computer. Love your stories Mark❤

A Mark Appreciation comment: Congrats on telling your stories w/out apologizing... Even if it was at the end of the video.... Progress 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Story 1: What you need to say to Stepdad and Uncle is "My condolences in advance, for WHENever Paula wraps her car around a tree or drowns in the lake while drinking thanks to you and your neglect". Like, seriously, she's been relatively lucky not to have died in any of her accidents while drunk.

I'm kind of disgusted by the fact that no one seems to acknowledge the corrupt cop angle of story 1. The drunk chick literally has a get-out-of-jail-free card thanks to the uncle.
@thebirdchannelforfans623 Жыл бұрын
Shit, I was thinking the same thing! That uncle needs to be reported to his sergeant.
@rosaazure Жыл бұрын
First story - OP should request from the police that the uncle does not have a part of the investigation. Make sure that they know that she is afraid that the uncle is biased towards the stepsister. She should also tell her insurance company and police that the stepfather insinuated that the uncle will not do anything if she filed a report.
