Family Sessions #74 / "Dancing Queen" (ABBA) ft. Charm of Finches

How about a jolly tune this Summer’s day? We had visitors from Australia a couple of weeks back and had time to cram in a little Family Session in between playing shows and sightseeing with these wonderful humans. Ivy and Mabel are sisters who make up the folk duo ‪@charmoffinchesband‬ and you should check them out. We met them first on the internet (where we also did a long distance session, #20 in this series), and also in person on a festival in New Orleans, and now we got to play with them here in Oslo which was so much fun! This ABBA song is maybe connected to a certain musical, but let’s not forget that it’s first and foremost a super catchy pop song from the 70’s. We had a great time adapting it into our indie universe with Torjus, Christer and Silje. Hope you enjoy it too!
