Short story with an ending I didn't expect. An accurate portrait of grief. Glad the author didn't feel the need to drag on the story to get the point across.

I wouldn't call this short. I'd say at the most, 15 minutes would be considered short.

real talk, finally a better use of the 'exe' horror genre and taking it somewhere further/expanding the topic on a deeper level than just "teehee but what if plumber man and blue furry was evil?"
@nevermorehollows5 ай бұрын
I absolutely agree. It was a good direction. Made it fresh

I agree, when I heard the word ".exe" for this story, I was starting to have doubts about this since sonic.exe rotted my brain so much to the point I only think of him first whenever I hear the word .exe and made me think it was just gonna be another one of "those" stories. But after listening to this story, this is a masterpiece right here, and a better take on the whole exe genre, it's quite refreshing honestly.

Wow... A story that actually has a true honest to God happy-ish ending instead of an ending that makes me hate being alive. I cried. Im so so so glad to have listened to this in order to cleanse my pallette after all the death mayhem and miserable endings Ive indulged in over the past few days. Thank you so much. Im not crying. This is my absolute favorite story. I love her, but this was refreshing. It’s a beautiful story, but what really brings home. The horror element, is a childhood fear that is common with many of us growing up. The prospect of losing our parents, especially for those of us who were not popular. Great job!

Fell asleep the first time so I’m back again for a listen. Grief can be so devastating sometimes. Missing your loved ones so desperately. I sympathize with the main character.. I been there you can’t even fathom the pain. Every day the pain. As time goes by you get stronger and more confident in yourself. It takes time to recover and heal from trauma. I’m grown and I hate learning activities because dealing with ppl is hard because ppl suck eggs man. They suck so bad.

16:07 I love how in every story ever, the teachers are just unreasonably cruel and any kid who isn't chosen into a group is singled out and has to like, do the work themselves or something. Does teachers every do this? Don't they usually just force people to work in a group? Idk but it's weirdly common in fiction.
@rybread91067 күн бұрын
As a loner-type kid in school I would consider it very accurate :') if you didn't want to work in a group you usually had to do a separate task on your own that was slightly more difficult, or the teacher would choose a group for you. I mean, to be fair, what else could they do with you? lol.
