Family Values: Roël Mannaart carries his father's name to the ring

Roël Mannaart is the son of legendary trainer - and kickboxing pioneer - Andre Mannaart, head of the Mejiro Gym in central Amsterdam. He's carrying the gilded name into battle in the GLORY light-heavyweight division this Saturday night against Lithuanian prospect Sergej Maslobojov.

Big fan of roel but he will have a very tough time with maslobojev. But with him coming to the lhw division, damn there are some great fighters now. Please glory do an 8 man tournament🙏🏻

Because he lose so much strength, power and endurance to try to make weight. He's such a big and tall fighter.

@@kempowarrior no it wont be a problem. He fought at 102/103 kg and he was trying to bulk... there are guys in the lhw that walk around that weight outside fightcamp

@@woggstenbgootjenl1947 im sorry man. I dont think imad hadar has any chance in this lhw division at the moment. I know you moroccans like him and he has talent but i dont think he is ready yet. Btw im not a 100% sure but i believe he is still signed to glory or else they still are in contact (he said something like that at thr collision 2 press conference). I think right now if you pick the best in the division you would get vakhitov, pereira, tavares, machida, abena, micheleti, maslobjev/mannaart/susperegui/hameur lain

Bjarne Collet Bro the guy is young! I really think he already can compete with guys like susperregui and manaart. Give him the oppurtunity and i really think in 3 years he can be a solid top 3 Glory LightHeavyweight. Believe me he is a toughh man, since the glory tournament loss he has fought 4 times, won al 4 and 3 of the 4 by knockout. I thinks hes ready for Glory men.

I think Yousri would do better as a middle weight instead of where he at right now. I think he need to move one weight class up. He is just to big to be cutting all that weight to make weight in his class.
