A parent can be supportive of their child without necessarily being supportive of their child's behavior. Make your child aware of the consequences of their behavior, but help however you can without appearing as though you condone their behavior.

The two friends are talking it out, but one of them is nervous about Mom's reaction to the pregnancy. Maria is a great friend and support system, she is as close to a sister!!! Jenny is, as Maria put it, an adult and able to say it. Knowing Mom's reaction since her own teen pregnancy, trying to get rid of the unborn grandchild is wrong. Desmond is a keeper, Jenny wants to keep him/her. Threatening with disownment and thinking too much about what everyone will say , speaks volumes about the toxicity!!! Fast forward, Maria will be named Godmother as Desmond and Jenny will be married , happy and raising Laila to the fullest. Hopefully Grandma will behave, or she can say goodbye for reconciliation. Hold on, this will be very stinging and painful!!!!

While I definitely don't condone pregnancy out of wedlock, I commend both Jenny and her boyfriend for not aborting their baby and living up to their responsibility. The mother obviously said all that she said out of hurt and disappointment, but it didn't make it right. At least she tried to make amends. On another note, I don't know if Jenny and her boyfriend eventually got married or not, but I hope they did. Liked the video, Family Chron! 👍

Parents should always be proud of their teenage kids. No matter what they do, becoming parents, having a job, and other things. But moms and dads should never kick their teenage kids out of their houses. The parents will be great grandparents to their grandkids

Parents need also need to remember that if there child gets pregnant or impregnates someone and they shun them or make them fend for themselves. Their child may have hate and resentment towards them for the rest of their lives. The child could make the parent(s) fend for themselves when they’re old and in need of care.

Some mothers won’t let their daughters keep the baby they kick em out when someone tells the mother that she made a mistake by kicking her out and when she does good for her self and her child the parents come running back asking em to come back asking to see the child the daughter gets a good paying job calling asking for money for this and that and don’t pay back the money end up begging for a other chance
