Yes it does, I speak from experience. My dad died on May 6th, 2021 & my mom died on May 7th, 2023. You're right, you don't really get over it. Knowing my mom accepted Jesus as young girl, I know I will see her again, cause I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior & I have a close personal relationship with him. Knowing I'll see her again, gives me comfort, but I still have rough day's. I also have the support from my husband, other family member's & friend's. Our church family love's, prays & support's us.

This stepmother is worse than Cinderella's stepmother. Cinderella's stepmom was really evil to squander all of Cinderella's money on herself and Cinderella's two stepsisters, to make Cinderella do all the housework and try to keep her from going to the ball and marrying the prince. This stepmother was worse. She was willing to let her stepdaughter go and live out on the streets, not caring what had happened to her. Cinderella was mistreated by her stepmother in other ways, but she had a house to live in and a bed to sleep in. This stepmother is more like Snow White's stepmom and Hansel and Gretel's stepmom. The ending reminds me of the true story of Joseph and his brothers, though. Joseph's brothers were jealous of Joseph and hated him. They sold him into slavery, and he spent many hard years away from his family. Later, when his brother needed help, Joseph saved their lives. (See Genesis chapters 37-50.)

I was watching soulsnacks the other day where a Karen got her karma. After getting her karma she was crying too at the end of that video but her crys were fake and insincere and still felt comedic than sorrow. But with this actress playing the evil stepmom and did her daughter evil. For some reason when she cried you feel it and really feel the sincerity and the pain that she brought upon herself. When she cries it feels very very real, but with soulsnacks whenever the karens cry it feels so fake and insincere and very comical like a national Lampoon's parody goofy comedy movie.
