I way back use to feed the hungry neighbors children most of their parents were passed out on drugs booze ect. I could only do peanut butter or baloney sandwich (I wish it could of been better but) I was able to indulge in a pizza once for the children and the look of delight in their eyes I will always remember forever.

Hey former foster kid here i can tell yall its much worse in foster care, when me and my brothers in care in the same homes all of them would abuse me and my brothers from beating us up to force feeding to be fed the same foods for a month and to them stealing my paycheck every time i got paid, to the foster parents putting my brothes in a facility for troubled teens or what they call it residental facilty. My younger brother is still in that facility but me and my fiance are trying to gain custody over him so he wont be in foster care until he is twenty one. So to all the previous foster care kids to the current it was never your fault and you will make it in life never give up and never forget your dreams, take it from me im a high school drop out and i work as a caregiver and a certified CNA without a college or highschool degree so anything is possible if you put the work into it. I BELIVE IN YOU

After having my son, it's hard for me to watch other kids be mistreated on a show or movie or anything to do with a child dying or starving or being abused. I honestly have a REALLY hard time trying to watch something. I usually have to switch it off but it's good that they show that stuff in shows and movies so that way we all can think about kids having to go through stuff. It's sad but it makes the children's voices louder. It's very disgusting that this woman is treating these kids like this. If I seen this in front of me happen, I'd get very mad and emotional and more than likely call the cops on the person doing it. It's wrong to make kids starve. They are like us adults except smaller and still have a lot of years left to go. ❤

I can’t believe foster parents could treat foster children so wrong. My Sister and I were a foster kids when she was two hours three we went to different homes. The parents say she has. They are so loving and caring to her and the two parents that I had were very loving parents, even though they passed away, my sister still has her adopted mother and father. Thank God for great foster mothers and fathers if they didn’t take me in or take My Sister in we both wouldn’t know where we would be today.

Aftermath idea: Lindsey tried filing a lawsuit against the cop for invasion of privacy, but after evidence was revealed on what she did to the girls, Lindsey's case got thrown out of court and the cop won. Lindsey was later convicted of child abuse, child neglect, fraud, and theft and sent to 45 years in prison. But she was so hated by the inmates there that the authorities decided to put her in solitary confinement, where she is currently rotting for the rest of her life. After winning his counterclaim, the cop used the money as compensation to pay back all the people that Lindsey scammed. Not just that, but his heroic actions had even promoted him to police captain. He also decided to adopt the two girls and become their father. They are currently a happy family.

I am a license foster parent/kinship care. I only have one kid but she is my niece. If I got of the kids in the future I will never treat them that way. All foster children should be showing respect and love. I will treat any kids just like they are my biological children. This gets me really 😭 💔😡👎🏾

Not completely realistic. The checks foster parents get are minuscule compared to what children actually cost. There are visits from social workers and you have to prove you’re using the money for the kids. There’s also a rigorous screening process to become a foster parent.

In America as foster parents are closely monitored in the uk. I did read about the Truman family chaining their children to their beds . Not feeding them or letting them have a bath. The Agency did not monitor them and this went on for years . One got out and called the police. They are now suing the agency as these children were home schooled really they abused them and are now in prison
