Dogs are the best judges of characters. They may not necessarily understand the finer things in life, but, they know how to protect people and they know whether a person is good or nasty. All that matters to a dog is that you give them your love and they'll give your their love.

Ted shares a few things with Harold (Total Drama) and Harry Potter: All 3 of them wore glasses; All 3 of them are attacked by a gang of 3 bullies (these 3 for Ted; The Killer Bass bully trio for Harold; Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle for Harry); The 3 bullies of each gang ruined their lunch (The Killer Bass bully trio gave Harold underwear sandwiches; these 3 added milk in Ted's lunch. (at least Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle didn't ruin Harry's lunch)).
