I loved the baby clothes.. definitely think I need a trip at the weekend for my Mum's neighbours baby. Also like you I love wooden toys. I used to run a Toddler Group in my local Library and I purchased a few wooden toys..the children loved them. Myself and my brother had a Tepi growing up...Great memories. Thank you for a great video. Please take care and all my love xx ❤️

Thank you so very much for your lovely kind words. Aww, that sounds like such a wonderful plan! Baby clothes shopping is always so much fun, and what a thoughtful gift for your mum’s neighbour’s little one. We hope they still have the organic ones in stock at you local Lidl. Wooden toys are just timeless, aren’t they? It’s amazing how much children love them, and they are better for the environment. Sending big love 💚💚💚

Loved my Spirograph as a kid. About 10 years ago bought my adult self one. Still loads of fun and it's relaxing. Hand blenders are great. You can make a smooth soup or a veggie gravy right in the pan. Fat quarters for used by people who quilt. Think it's a quarter of a yard of fabric.

I had an english teacher that believed that the bathroom was the place to read haha so she was always telling us never to bring phones to the Loo haha she told me I should pop a notebook and pen in my bathroom to write down ideas because I was always popping out ideas haha While watching this I'm wearing Lidls thermal leggings and I want them in every colour because they're actually so cosy and they werent expensive! I actually bought that Snackle box in Aldi for Harrison and I love it! I cant wait until picnic season so that we can actually bring it out of the house haha eating outdoors is not ideal in this cold! I do find Aldi stuff definitely more chaotic but Lidl is always pretty spotless for me Lidl wins it because they always have more stuff and unique stuff too like the ski pants etc they definitely hit the Niche markets better

Hey Shauna, thanks for your comment - it definitely sounds like you've had good experience with both middle aisles at Aldi and Lidl! 😊 That's a great idea from your teacher to put a notebook and pen in the bathroom for ideas! Although, with us I feel it would also lead to silly drawings and doodling!! 😂

Fat quarters are pieces of different materials to make things with. I sew and knit so say you knit a purse you can line it with a piece of material or just make something with material. Hobby Craft sell them usually more expensive. You can get Disney ones to, from Ann

I'm in the US and I uave found so many deals. Here we call it the AOS or Aisle of Shame, because people go in for one thing and spend a lot of money in those aisles. We have found a couple Dutch ovens for 14.99 US. I found a console table for 24.99 US instead of the 89.99 US. My daughter got the immersion blender/hand blender. I got the food vacuum sealer. We have spent a lot there throughout the years but have saved a lot of money too.

Can't believe U did this!! ❤ Amazing. In terms of customer service you go to the till, I only know this from a blind point of view with needing assistance around the sbop... I find particularly Aldi, if you go when they are busy they r very happy to help But If you go when it's empty... it's like do I have to? Sort of attitude... I don't understand why though. Lidl staff member stood and asked where I parked my car... whilst I was holding my cane! xx

Aldi is always messy in the middle isle even when they first put the stuff out. Much of their stuff is just random tosh so you must have gone on a good day. Lidl has always been far superior for choice, prices and quality and they really work hard to keep the isle's tidy. Those note pads were really good, I went to buy some after seeing them on a video like yours but I was caught out as they only had the ones with graph paper in them left. I mistakenly bought four packs but I kept 2 and took 2 back with no quibble. They were really good quality though. Great vid.

Wow i was really impressed with the selection and range of stuff in Aldi especially the weights and running socks. I might go for a look myself. This week i got i pb 5k and im feeling really happy as ive managed to do some weight training twice a week since Christmas. Katie i have a question about air pollution at home as previously you have said that scented and perfumed things add to the air pollution at home. As someone with asthma i really try to avoid spraying things like air freshners as they do irritate my breathing. But would you say essential oils in a defuser are different or still add a bit to the air pollution at home. Just wanting to learn more if you have any insight to share???? ❤
@FamilyFreedom
@FamilyFreedom 7 күн бұрын
Hi Lindsay, Well done on your PB!! And keeping up with your weight training! That's a good question as it's been an ongoing journey for us and we are always trying to improve things. We try to avoid anything with chemicals in our personal care and our cleaning products. The diffuser is fine for us as long as we use 100% natural essential oils with nothing else added. (organic is best) It might be worth doing some research to find out if there are any essential oils that help with asthma. I use lavender a lot as it helps with my sleep. We recently watched this podcast kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIDFcotnp52lZtUsi=HU_fi5843rkahb5Z and it really helped us to understand why we need to remove the toxins from our lives. I would highly recommend watching or listening to it. Jamie recently watched it and she has started to make changes! We also use a Pro Breeze air purifier which helps to remove dust and toxins from the air in our home. Good luck and let us know what you think of the podcast 💚 Sending all our love to you and your precious family 💚

Dynamic or Bamix are the top end immersion blenders with multiple accessories for blending, frothing, emulsifying etc... Bamix have quick change attachments, Dynamic you need a small screwdriver to change blades/discs. If you use one a lot then they are the brands i would recommend but for occasional use the Lidl or Aldi ones are fine.

It would've been good if you showed us what you bought from each store and how much you spent altogether, just like what you do in the grocery hauls!

Hey Carly, thanks for your comment 😊 We showed what we bought with everything that went in our trolleys. We didn't mention what was spent as this more about exploring the middle aisles 👍

Please steer clear of Russell Hobbs. Both fridges I bought from them died, two kettles my Mum had from them died & I think one of us bought a Russell Hobbs toaster that died, all within a year of buying them!
