Loved this, I think I'd have had Hot cross buns with butter for breakfast, for lunch exactly what you did other than the broccoli as I'd use the sausages with mashed/jacket or just boiled potatoes with any left over carrots too. Bread maybe a bread and butter pudding as a snack then hummus and carrots as a second snack? Freeze the rest of the bread? Lol Xxx

Hot cross buns with butter for breakfast is a classic choice, and using the sausages and potatoes for lunch sounds great (I wish we had have thought of that 😂) Bread and butter pudding is a fantastic idea for some of the leftover bread we actually haven't had that in years! Love the Too Good To Go App we have a few nice places on our doorstep which is super handy as don't need to travel too far , I have found our Aldi ones to be really awful don't really get a selection mainly 10 of the same thing so i don't bother much with that as even with giving some bits away it went to waste . Our girls love the bakey things so we mainly use that . Thanks for another fab vlog x

I love too good to go my favourite on there is pound bakery and starbucks, i had a one stop one just last night it had 2 vegan steaks, 2 packs of mushrooms, a pack of tomatoes, 2 loaves of bread and a dairy milk chocolate bar in it. Cost £1.99

Hey guys have you tried the new vegan walkers crisps i think its like bbq beef? they are really nice i cant tell the difference at all, i did try the raspberry magnum but i wasnt keen on it but i am obsessed with the greggs sausage rolls you can get frozen from iceland, love them

This app is quite new to our area, and there is almost nothing vegan( not grocery stores). I havent watched what you made yet, but I would have made Breakfast- tofu scramble on toast, side of roasted potatoes. lunch- a sandwich with hummus, sautéed mushrooms and spinach, and some of the salad, carrots. Dinner- sausage, pesto roasted potatoes, broccoli.

Hahahaha Katie only you could think to put sausages on hot cross buns and make it work 😂😂😂 And that was such a good haul too like I think if you tried it could have actually lasted 2-3 days especially bread wise 😂! Apparently you can make sandwiches and freeze them I’ve just learned this recently obviously certain toppings will work better than others ❤️

These people asked me where m and s and I said I think its outside as from a youtbe video I watched 😂I was trying to find it myself I nearly missed it😂. The lego store was pretty good! Idk if jojo knows there's a thing could a lego passport you can get it free from the counter and you collect stamps from every lego store you go to! We buy “Too good to go” box’s only £3.50p each. From so Aldi mainly as there items are great! You get a lot of groceries. Many Suoer markets now do them. Ahhhhh, you are getting the too! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Would be nice to see it in paper bags rather than plastic. And of course it is to be hoped that the shops that dont have much is because they have sold it rather than it going to waste. Where I live the app is really mostly for restaurants rather than shops. I hope it expands soon

I can't drive for medical reasons, so this unfortunately wouldn't work for me. However, one thing I like about Amazon Fresh is that they work to reduce food waste by selling short date items at a reduced price. So for something that I know I'll be eating within 24 hours (eg. blueberries with my lunches) I can get at a really good discount.

What a great video!!! You got some really good stuff for so cheep. Really shows that we can all try and reduce food waste, this app is so good for places what serves food and drink to not just bin it. So do you go for the bags not listed as vegan, then just ring the place in advance? I've never had anything from Too Good To Go, as nothing has been labelled vegan near us, and didn't realise requesting vegan things may be a possibility!

Hey Laura, thanks for your question 👍 In our experience, the smaller businesses/mini supermarkets like Budgens, Nisa etc tend to let you choose with them, but this isn't a 100% guarantee - I'd advise still calling them before if you can, or telling them as soon as you get there 👍 For bigger chains like Greggs, Leon, M&S, Aldi etc you'd have to call before. I have used the app twice now. First time M&S said they are not obliged to provide veggie good and it was 90per cent meat. Yesterday picked up a veggie bag from Wenzels and there wS a tuna sandwich in it. Dont think will try again sad 😔
