I was told even though we would have a physical famine the greatest famine in the last days would be Spiritually and it is now we should feast upon the word.

I was once told that the heavens will be silent in the last days, making people starve in spirit, because "the great Jehovah [has said]: the Work is done"; and call his missionaries home, thus: no preaching. And if the Saints are migrating to Zion, the hungry souls will find our churches empty, and they will ask each other: where are the missionaries? Why are their churches forsaken? Bringham Young also said that when the Lord calls his missionaries home, He will [paraprasingly] say: Come home, ye elders, for now I will issue MY preachings. And they will be sermons of fire, and wind, and quaking of the earth. So, it will be a physical and spiritual famine, and the people will beg for the heavens to be opened.

I came across a few years ago a channel called Jason A, where it shows video news around the world of natural events such as droughts, floods, huge ocean waves, etc, etc. God is the only one who knows when these events will take place, however after seeing the scripture quotes you have point out here, and the mountain evidence we see in world events plus the mayor challenges at hand in the church today ... there is no doubt we are living the last days indeed brothers and sisters!

Do you remember the story of Joseph? He stored up foods in the time of plenty for the time of famine. One key piece that we do not think about from the perspective of our modern day life styles. Is that Joseph had to grow all of the foods which were stored away. So to must we all grow our own foods. Did you know it could take up to 5-7 years before a fruit tree will go to first fruits and then another year or two before full fruits are seen. Then you have to continually care for the tree for all of those years. Think about this. Each type of fruit and nut tree, plant, bush and vine bares their fruit in their own chosen month. So think about for your own region on how to grow edible plants of all kinds which will insure that you, your family, your friends, your church and your community has something to eat every single month of the year. Be sure to only plant heirloom, wild or organic seeds and plants. Be sure not to use organic seeds or plants form other nations as these will have been or should have been irradiated. Thus killing their seeds and other nutritional values. We are still in the season of plenty. So continue to put the word out and encourage action.

Religion uses fear as a control method. Don't take anyone's word on What IF. Do the leg work yourself then make up your mind. The more a religion uses fear to control you, the more wary you should be of that person. Even in religion there are narsasistic people who'll enjoy taking advantage of you and beginning to gaslight you. Believe what ever you like, dear, I won't discourage you that. But when it comes to people, one person's voice shouldn't be enough to convince you without the leg work. Find your own path to what you believe. And not what men have decided you should believe. Do your own research. Find your own way.

I do find out for myself and especially I do rely on the holy spirit. But you can get answers form the holy spirit by listening to other opinions. I was just expressing that sometimes I learn from listening to other opinions. I by NO way just listen to people and take what they say! I want to make that clear!!! With the pandemic we are going through, the severe drought we are in, crime going through the roof, invasion of our southern border, inflation sky rocketing, middle east in turmoil, and political chaos in Washington DC, we have to be entering into a new and ever so difficult time period. As a youth living in Eastern Idaho I remember hearing of a prophecy given by an Apostle but I don't remember which one. At that time the vast desert was covered in sagebrush. He said the desert would blossom as a rose and help feed the lost tribes when they return. During my lifetime dry farms have covered s good part of desert lands. I'm sure many more are to come. I'm elderly by the way.

I believe it’s “The wagon box” talk/prophecy by President Taylor. I grew up in South Eastern Idaho. I think it was given somewhere near to where I grew up. (Iona Idaho) Pres. Taylor talks about how beautiful homes, green farms, schools/universities etc. will replace the sagebrush that was everywhere at that time.

Yes I do think this meeting in April 2020 General Conference was very significant but at that solemn assembly he did not call the stakes of Zion to return to the New Jerusalem so I would not be surprised if there is a solemn assembly in the future are more of the 2nd coming events progress.

There's some confusion between the contents of the seals and the opening of each seal among some members. So remember that the Book with seven seals contains a record of God's work throughout the 7000 years of its existence. (D+C 77:6) and that each seal contains a record of each thousand year period. (so the first seal contains the record of the first thousand years, the second seal contains a record of the second thousand years and so on that's according to verse 7) So we are currently living in the period of time recorded in the 6th seal, which shutoff contain a record of things like the restoration, the building up of Zion, the restoration of the 10 lost tribes, calling of the 144,000, and tribulation to name a few of the big events. In the sense that we're living in the time recorded in the sixth seal, that's the seal we're living in. However, on KZbin, there's the popular thought that the opening of each of these seals as we read them in Revelation aren't independent of the start time of each seal. I.E the sixth seal contains a record of the sixth thousandth year, which is about the years 1,000 ad - 2,000 ad, so some assume that the sixth seal opened around the year 1,000. This is wrong, and contradicts Joseph Smith's teachings on the subject. (a great compilation of sources could be found on this video : kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIKvlWeFnZtpjtU) All the seals, according to Joseph Smith, open after the Book of Revelation, and events signifying the opening of the sixth seal (sun to darkness, Moon to Blood, and earthquake) are prophecied to take place after Joseph Smith's time according to D+C 45, and 88. So while we are living in the time recorded in the sixth seal, that doesn't necessarily mean the sixth seal on the book with seven seals has been opened.

Though I do hope you realize that these videos are made by LDS members The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints has some differing views from mainstream Christianity. Though I might add a lot of popular KZbin videos made on the subject of the last days by members of TCJCLDS differ from what the Church actually teaches. I think you might need to reread my post. I think you're mistaken by some of the words I've said. I specifically stated that the opening of the 6th seal is a future event. I know we're not in the seventh seal. I never specified which seals have been opened. One thing that I know will be a different concept for you (since you don't share our faith) is the Book with Seven Seals is defined as a record of God's work on this earth during its entire temporal existence. Each seal contains a portion of that record, each 1000 years. Now in Revelation, we read what happens when each of the seals is opened. And you're completely right, they are all last day events. The concept of opening seals being indicators of a sequence of events is in the Bible, and the knowledge of what's recorded in the Book with Seven Seals is doctrine revealed to Joseph Smith by God, and can be found in Doctrine and Covenants 77:6-7. I never stated anything contrary to the 144,000 being called from each tribe. There are members of the tribes scattered throughout the world, but it's also prophesied that a large company will be brought from the "north" in a miraculous highway made by God. (Isaiah 11:15-16, 35:8-10, 62:10-12, Jeremiah 3:18, 16:13-15, 23:8, 31: 8) While there are scattered members in all the lands you mentioned that will be gathered, there still will be a "large company" of people that will be brought from the "north" in a location known only to God

That is where belief comes into play. It’s everyone’s choice to decide what they believe to be right or wrong, and as Christians, we believe that the terrible things happening now are the judgements of God coming to the Earth. These are the last days to choose our side, whether we will serve our Heavenly Father, or whether we will serve the Devil. In order to have real peace and love, we should live the way Jesus Christ lived, so what power would be sending down judgements other than the creator of our world? If you believe that there are tangible beings out there who consist of either good or evil, then it would only make sense that the advocates for good are preparing to save Their children from the wickedness of the world. It is the law of love that will win because it is the truth, and the truth never dies, and if we uphold the truth, we will live forever with our creator because we will be like Him, full of love and wisdom. The Bible has prophesied that conditions on Earth will get worse, and that all of these are signs of Christ’s second coming to Earth. I hope this makes sense! :)

They send millions of dollars in food and supplies all over the world and its not just for members. They were the 1st helicopters to bring in water and food and evacuate people from New Orleans. Not one of their clergy is paid all from the bishop to the President of the church do it for free. They're truly doing God's work. Now if tyoure talking Catholic church then I 100% agree with you. No preacher, pastor, bishop should be paid to do Gods work the money makes them beholden to the number of seats filled or they don't get paid so they talk mad bs about other churches out of fear of losing their income. 2 years later now I think we've moved the "We are here" marker on your timeline closer to the "modern day apostasy" and the end of the "time of the gentiles." Dream #2 Friday night March 25, 2022 In my dream, “Myself, my wife, and kids were staying in this tiny house. No clue as to where the location was. We were all eating lunch or dinner. I was sitting at a round dining table, my wife was on my left. My kids already ate and they were playing. Sitting directly across from me was Jesus. He had on a white robe, he had brown eyes and top of the shoulders length hair. We were eating soup. We didn’t talk. We would look at each other and smile take a couple sips and look at each other again and smile. I took seven dollars out of my wallet and I set it beside my bowl. I finished my soup and said excuse me and I went to the restroom. When I came back to the table and sat down, I noticed the $7 was gone. I looked at Jesus and the $7 was in his empty bowl. His head was hung down and he was very sad like he was weeping. End of the dream. “ All I can think of was the 7 bowl judgements of wrath or the 7 plague’s judgements. What’s crazy is I haven’t been studying the bowl judgements lately. But also it could mean the rider on the horse that has to do with famine and the scale balances. And or, the 7 could mean or symbolize the feast of Tabernacles and the 8th day Jesus will be back for his first fruits. All I know is that Jesus was with us in our little dwelling place. @@rodagrail3231 It took me a few minutes, but I found the scripture you were asking about. It's in Doctrine & Covenants section 115 verse 4. There was some debate (for several years) among members of the church about what to call it, and they had changed the name several times until the prophet received the revelation of what Jesus himself wanted it to be called. At one point they had called it "the Church of Latter Day Saints" and "the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints"...and Christ added that it should include his whole name: Jesus Christ. (The spelling was later "standardized" to include the hyphen, thus correcting a misspelling of the word "latter-day"...makes sense to me, since the revelation that was shared was a written version of what the prophet heard)....but anyway, they were pretty close, basing their decisions partly on differentiating themselves from some "offshoots" that had decided not to stay with the prophet and the majority. I find the history in general pretty interesting.

The issue is a few things: 1) priestcraft is almost exclusively when someone tells you that you have to buy something in order to progress in the Kingdom of God. 2) you chose to view this and you can skip the commercials so it is completely voluntary on your part 3) he's not using his office in the priesthood to preach (not sure that makes much difference) 4) you have access to all the same materials that he does, he's done the work for you. What are you willing to give him in return for his work?

California has had a drought for 20 years now. Perhaps this is what was meant by the 1/2 hour of silence..? Still not buying the Elijah thing. Not that it couldn’t be... just that I don’t think that it is. I do think that the 2 witnesses are two apostles and that the number is also referring to missionaries and is symbolic, not literally two people necessarily. I think the missionaries will be called into the middle east for 3 1/2 years and cause many miracles... that the weak ones might break down the mighty and strong. Who knows.

Sir, i would be careful using the name of the LDS church to teach about the book of Revelations. The leaders of that church doesn't want it taught in their church. I know of many people who tried to teach others concerning the warnings and signs that are mentioned in Revelations. Everyone has been excommunicated for teaching about the false prophet, the 144,000; and about the Mark of the beast. Some of the leaders have excommunicated old members that was born in the church, because they taught about the 144,000. (by old, i mean as old as 85 years old) So please, if you are still a member of the LDS; be careful on what you teach. The leaders will come after you through your Bishop.
