No trip to Happy Valley is complete without horse racing, eating, and the cemeteries! We joined Sam of Hong Kong Hoods and he took us on a food tour around Happy Valley, checking out the most famous cha chaan teng which is touted as one of the best places to get a pineapple bun or egg tart, washed down with a Hong Kong milk tea. Also, it's been around since 1951, so Cheung Hing has been around for over 70 years! Next he took us to another local favourite place for BBQ meats for some char siu and roasted goose. Of course, no tour of Happy Valley is complete without some horse racing. So did we win some or did we dim sum? Check it out in the video.

I wonder if majority of jockers eat pineapple buns & egg tarts and drink milk tea/lemon ice tea or get a meal dish from Cheung Hing Coffee Shop?? Amigo is a boy in spanish/mexican so kind of surprise that is french cuisine. Like the combination of BBQ Pork/Roast Duck. Virginia White Coffee had good art work. I'm not pizza lover, but I'll try the gourmet Napole Pizza. The people I grew up with have been investing their earned money into horse races. The riders and their horses win recognition to finish the top 4 in the race, but the gambler don't win any money for their selected horse number that finish in 4th place. Only get a little money that finish 3rd place or just get back the money that was paid for. Satisfied money in 2nd place. And big money where not many able to win in 1st place. I'll visit Happy Valley whenever I get to come back to HK for the longest time I have to wait for Zero Covid restriction.
