Would I wait in line for those scrambled eggs? You bet I would. Sure, the eggs are hyped and a draw in that regard. But, I love scrambled eggs. And, there is something about Cantonese and Canto-Western style scrambled eggs that I adore. The ones at Australia Dairy Company are textbook quality too. So silky and creamy. Probably loaded with lots of butter as you said. A great glimpse into an iconic restaurant, Hong Kong food culture, and the shopping scene in Mong Kok. Thanks for this video.

The food is just ordinary. It's the experience that's memorable, especially the rude staff who take your order really quickly, and then shoo you away as soon as you're finished. In fact, as you're finishing your food, they usher in the next customers to your table to make you realize it's time to go. 🤣

Love your video!!! i visited ADC once. We jumped ahead of the line because we agreed to share a table with a stranger (1 guy sitting at a table of 4 and there were 3 of us). As we were lead to our table, we made our order and as soon as we sat down, our food was already there. We finished our meal in 10 mins and quickly left, so the other people waiting can take our seats. I am so surprised they let you video record and took your "time" eating. Being a huge toy collector, I have been at the places you visited; it is great to get a update of those places; the last time I was in HK was 2018. I'm just waiting until it is safe to travel to HK.

The Australian Milk company is kind of started by somebody that was Cantonese.. and then he went to work in Australia.. and in truth... if you're local Cantonese.. then there is a chance that you could be related to them ! :) I've never tried the steamed milk.. but my cousin took me there for the egg sandwiches.. Now in my 40s... I really appreciate this company. I had no idea of its significance before in my family tree. Next time I'm back... I shall go there again. Many SE Asian cannot digest milk proteins anyway, so the fact that they steam is to break down the molecules will help you absorb the milk a lot more. And the watery style is quite unclogging and a nice feeling. Also good for some calcium absorption too. Love the sheung tong with pasta. It's a classic chicken consumme. Very nutritious. Soups in HK are often revered anyway cos it is so humid and hot over there... more water in your meals per day is most preferably preferred.

@hongkongfoodtours2 жыл бұрын
We don’t use RMB- it’s only HKD. But restaurants have Alipay and different forms of Mainland Chinese electronic payments so mainland Chinese tourists can pay that way. If at the peak of tourism, it’s possible some touristy restaurants will take rmb but it would be equal to HKD so the customer would take a slight loss as rmb is higher in value. Hope that helps!

Damn, usually you see long lines when there's a new iphone launch or something similar, me personally. I'd go to another store. LOL. But the food looked amazing. How's the crimes in Hong Kong by the way? If that waiter wore that gold bracelet here in America, he'll be beaten and robbed in broad day-light. For the hot dog, i would add each sauce individually on each bite size, so i can try each flavor on it's own.. BTW, You should buy a small souvenir to send out to one of your subscriber =), I love this content btw. a little bit mixture of what's there to do.

No. It's a very very light steamed pudding. Kind of like ... creme brulee.. but much much much lighter, cos it uses milk and not cream... and it is steamed... and not baked. In a hot country like SE Asia... higher water contents kind of helps you in general as well. So it doesn't feel like cloggy after you've had that. The Watercress honey tea.. is a new one. :) (But yes... HK people, I find that, they are... "shouty and maybe customer services are kind of bad, but their ethics are solid and strong"... Watercress is a dark green and most dark greens help your body heal in general any way. So it is a kind of TCM thing.... It's very cute. That one must be new. This is why in HK.. even if you do not have healthcare provision, you can be fine, in general... Cos the food that you can get are pretty healing in nature.
