From the Edward Everett Horton wiki: In the 1950s, the state of California forced Horton to sell a portion of his property for construction of the Ventura Freeway. The freeway construction left a short stump of Amestoy Avenue south of Burbank Boulevard, and shortly after his death the city of Los Angeles renamed that portion Edward Everett Horton Lane.

How fantastic to see two of my favorites in the title! Merle was magnificent as Lady Blakeney, and the look on her face when she realizes that Percy is the Pimpernel is a cinematic classic. And, was there anyone quite like Errol Flynn? I can (and often do, to the chagrin of my wife) recite the lines while watching "The Adventures of Robin Hood". In fact, I have the movie poster (as seen at 21:04) in a frame in my office, and it is less than 6 feet from my head as we speak! I also thoroughly enjoy watching "The Sea Hawk", and of course, Captain Peter Blood battle Captain Levasseur, Colonel Bishop, and naturally, his niece Arabella! And,...I have heard of this Frances Gumm!

Arthur Dark, this was an excellent presentation. Wonderful kudos to close on, as well, for Roger B. Sinclair. That was a very nice touch. I also recognized the name Wolders on the grave of Merle Oberon as that of Robert Wolders. He's had quite a bit of his own history in entertainment, but I remember him for that one guest spot on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, where he is the man Mary begins to have concerns over the fact their dating is based on superficiality.

OMG Arthur, yesterday I got several messages with your video attached. I am Roger Sinclair's closet friend. He use to call me his daughter. I placed him in his niche he was so proud of. I visit often and the ending of your video showing his niche I was so FREAKING HONORED. I was friends with Roger for over 30 years. We met at Westwood and he would invite me on gravehunts with him. He took me all thru Forest Lawn GM several times. Hell if I could remember where everyone is. LOL!!!! And those are my Halloween decor on his crypt. When did you take this shot. I haven't been up there in a couple of months. I was in tears watching this and there is so many graving stories I could share. Roger was quirky and I loved the man like a daughter would. A couple of months before he passed he was telling everyone he could that I was his daughter. I till am honored that he chose me to help him out in his last days. He never married or had children. But he was never alone for sure. So many of us gravers, death hags and Hollywood Underground originals think very highly of Roger. So Thank you again. And feel free to contact me. I'm on facebook at Kimberly Talley Eazell And I am known at the Graving Queen of Orange County. If their dead in the OC I probably more then likely know where they are buried. And I work for the OC Cemetery District. So I have some inside info at Santa Ana, Anaheim and El Toro. I use to work at Pacific View for 6 years and know a lot people that are buried there that no one has found YET I should say. Much love and I've loved all your videos.

He's the only on in there. And I now own it. I really don't want to put anyone else in it. It was his pride and joy. When we had his service I ask the counsler at Forest Lawn what was the value of it now, She said $16,000 plus and that was in 2015. Roger would be honored Arthur honored him. He truly was the God Father of Graving and my friend since 1988.

My old elementary school is right across the street at the entrance of Forest Lawn Glendale and watching many large funeral precessions while playing on the playground of these old stars was common. I didn't know who they were except when Walt Disney went by. Our teachers never told us who was passing by. Not until I started watching this vlog finding out who they were from 1964-70.

@@777poco Denis, it wasn’t the studio that got Judy addicted as is so often claimed. Her mother, Ethel started it while Judy was still doing vaudeville.... watch her interview with Barbara Walters. Judy claimed she could not even have a tummy ache, because Ethel would threaten “I’ll wrap you around the bedpost and break you off short.” What kind of “mother” threatens a kid like that?

The actors and actresses I never heard of from the silent era as well as the golden era. It's also heartbreaking to hear of some of Hollywood's royalty not having enough to have a proper funeral and being placed in storage as a final resting place. Errol Flynn one of the biggest names in Hollywood and perhaps the very first Australian superstar. Remember my mom talking about him and how he made her feel. Ida Lupino, Merle Oberon and and so many others, they just don't make star's like they used to.
