When a musician is highlighted in these tours, and a snippet of their music plays during the highlight, I'm always struck by the power of Time. In a way, the essence of music is timeless. Yet music also has the ability to take us "back to another time", igniting our emotions and sense memory in the process. And it's odd/shocking to see that a person who created a song/album that inspired the emotions and movement in others is now in a place where time has ceased for them. Such a powerful dichotomy.

Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills cemetery is the ONLY celebrity cemetery I've ever visited. On my ONE AND ONLY visit to Hollywood in March of 2007 where I went to one of the very last tapings of PRICE IS RIGHT before BOB BARKER retired; I bought six red roses and took a cab to this fabled cemetery to leave a rose at the graves of six of my favorite stars who are buried there: BETTE DAVIS, LIBERACE, LOU RAWLS, ANDY GIBB, FREDDIE PRINZE and JOHN RITTER. Andy and Freddie are buried in a mausoleum right around the corner from eachother. Liberace and Bette Davis are buried in HUGE marble crypts. Fittingly, Miss. Davis's tomb is high up on a hill overlooking all of Hollywood, just as it should be. LOVE these videos and looking forward to the next one. Thanks Arthur!

When Burt Reynolds died last year it dawned on me that nearly every voice actor from the film All Dogs Go to Heaven have now passed and the movie is only 30 years old. Your visit to Vic Tayback has reminded me of that. Of course, young Judith Barsi passing away before the release of the film is what makes it the outlier in these terms.

The "gulp" moment for me is the grave of Scott Wilson. He has been a favorite of mine since I first saw him on the CBS Network showing of "In Cold Blood" in, I believe, 1972. I'm so relieved that before he left us, he made millions of new fans with "The Walking Dead", and left this world with millions of people mourning where he could have been just a footnote. I had the pleasure of meeting him twice, and the Scott Wilson I met and talked to was a real gentleman. He smiled at the stories I had to tell him. He was a pleasure to meet. I will miss him.

I think that actor Ernest Borgnine played “old man on the mountain “ on an episode of Little House on the Prairie. Wonderful exit deer friend 😂 🤣 😂

Yes, he did! And that's the episode that always makes me cry... every time. A lot of Little House episodes are tear jerkers, but this one is powerful.

Mr. Dark your video postings are very respectful & well done. Informative it's always a trip down memory line for me. Ty 👏 😊. Linda Ronstadt singing the duet w/ James I. reminds me how's much I miss her singing in 2023. Thank you for your respect for the dead. Revence & simple relaying the facts of their life & entertaining us in the public all so well said.🎉❤😊. Ty. Bill Paxton's death was so sudden & 😲. One of my fav actors.🎉💔👏🙏✨️🕊😢🌟😔🌈. Rip.
