Apologies, I mispronounced Rod Steiger's name (it's "Sti-ger" not Stee-ger")
@psychcorp44497 жыл бұрын
Not to worry, Arthur. I noticed this even at my first viewing of this video. The same can be said regarding the pronunciation of Cecil B. DeMille (Hollywood Forever Cemetery). I have always heard the first name pronounced "Cecil" (with a soft "e") as opposed to "Cee-cil" (with a pure "e"). Rest assured, your tremendous contributions far outweigh any putative mispronunciation of any names.

I often stop by Forest Lawn and bring flowers to Andy Gibb and his parents (also interred there). Actually, Andy had 3 consecutive number one hits: "I Just Want To Be Your Everything," "Love Is (Thicker than water)", and "Shadow Dancing" (#1 for SEVEN weeks in 1978). A feat which has not been accomplished by any other artist to this day!

This is where my distant cousins, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, are buried too. I had no idea that we were related until after their deaths I saw our shared family name of Herrman/Harman on 'Celebrity Ethnicity' for Carrie through Debbie's side. The Herrman/Harman family were Moravian Brethren initially fleeing persecution in Moravia/Bohemia to Germany. Our common ancestor, Heinrich Adam Herrman, came to Philadelphia from Germany via England in 1726. They later settled on the New River in Virginia. I live in Fullerton, CA, so I will visit their graves soon. RIP cousins.

It is a pleasure to view your videos because of your excellent tone of voice and vocabulary, excellent enunciation, informative content, and friendly demeanor. About once a year I indulge my morbid side and watch videos dealing with death. Having seen a few of these by now, I can say without reservation that yours are EASILY the best I've ever seen. I can usually call it a day after watching only one or two of these videos due to the amateurish nature of them but yours are so well made I watched them all and now I'm still wanting more. Thanks for sharing these videos and also for taking the time to pause on the graves of not so well known stars and production people.
