What a wonderful video, Scott! The man who was born with the gift of a golden voice. We had music of so many genres from my parents records and on to us kids, but Leonard Cohen wasn't included for some reason. I was driving in my car downtown and I had the radio on and all of a sudden this song came on that had me shook. I had to pull over to listen to the rest and it's still my favorite, "The Tower of Song." It was nice to see the two homes, does the family still own the one he lived in once famous? The art mural is stunning on the building. It is so sad to me that these artists pay someone and trust them to do their job only to find the manager has stolen from them. What a betrayal and it's happened far too many times. I see that his dad passed at 52 yrs. of age. It's a beautiful final resting place and heartwarming to see all the treasures left for him. You know you got me teary again. You were right, I do really love this video. As always, great job, my friend.

i AM ABSOLUTELY IN WARM ATMOSPHERE, SAD, AND FULL OF MELANCHOLY FEELINGS AFTER THIS DOCUMENT. ITS GREAT!!! COHEN WAS 3 OR 4 TIMES IN POLAND. I SAW HIM DURING THE FIRST CONCERT IN SALA KONGRESOWA DURING SOLIDARITY ERA. HE WAS LATE ONE HOUR, AND SET THE GLASS OF WINE UP, AND SAID: - " I DRINK THE TOAST FOR POLAND...!" LATER..IN WARSAW TOO AT "TORWAR SALA " WITH SHARON ROBINSON. I BOUGHT HIS LP AND CD OF SHARON. I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT 500 SONGS IN MY COUNTRY. LIRYCS AND MUSIC. ONE OF THE BEST - I GUESS - IS "THE LOST SONG OF LEONARD COHEN" from 2019. MANY TENDER REGARDS AND KISSES FROM ME - TO ALL FANS OF L.C. BY THE WAY...I LIVED 4 YEARS IN MONTREAL ( N.D.G.) LIKE EX EMIGRANT. I WAS MISSING MY COUNTRY SO MUCH, SO...I CAME BACK IN 1991. KRZYSZTOF LOGAN TOMASZEWSKI Mr Nostalgia www.logan-tomasewski.pl jubileusz you can watch it...

I never knew he was Canadian. Always assumed he was American. I first heard of him from an ex girlfriends father who loved listening to Cohen, Janice Joplin and Stevie Nicks. I've been meaning for years to educate myself on Cohens music. I might just do that after watching this video. When I was younger I always thought he was a bit too deep for my taste. As I'm older, I'll give him another try.
