Lahori Chanay Recipe:
Onion 1 medium - Paste
Cinnamon stick 1inch
Black Cardamom 1
Green Cardamom 3
Cloves 6-7
Star anise seed 1
Ginger Garlic paste 2tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Salt 1tsp as required
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Red chili powder 1tsp
Splash of water
Red chili flakes 1tsp
Chickpeas(Soaked overnight) 500grms
Mashed potato(one medium) Paste
Chickpeas Paste 1/2 cup
Chickpeas water 1/2 glass
Chicken broth 1 glass
Crushed Black Pepper 1.5tbsp
Green chili whole 2-3 (Optional)
Garam masala 1/4tsp
Served Lahori Chanay with Naan/Roti.
