Famous On Screen Cars Exhibition at Beaulieu Motor Museum (April 2022) [4K]

[4K] On Screen Cars at Beaulieu , join us as we take a tour of this fantastic collection of TV and film cars from Only Fools and Horses, Harry Potter, James Bond and more at the National Motor Museum where the cars are the stars
You can find the On Screen Cars exhibition next to the the World of Top Gear exhibition at Beaulieu, Home of the National Motor Museum.
The exhibition is housed inside a building with themed music from the vehicles tv or films plays in the background and as a nice touch there are also props around vehicles. For example next to Del Boys vehicle there are some Carpet Tiles and David Bowie LP's, which fans will know is straight from the famous Only Fools and Horses theme tune. If you look closely you may spot a Trevor Francis Tracksuit. (For those that don't know Trevor Francis was a famous footballer form the 1980's)
1966 Ford Anglia 105E - Harry Potter Films
The first car we see is the The Weasley's flying Ford Anglia first seen in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In the film the car is borrowed by Ron Weasley and Harry Potter when they are unable to get on to Platform 9¾ to board the Hogwarts Express. This vehicle is a blue 1966 Ford Anglia 105E. This vehicle was actually stolen in 2005 but was later recovered and donated to the museum at Beaulieu
2002 Jaguar XKR Convertible - James Bond Die Another Day
Zao's Jaguar XKR Convertible is next from the James Bond Movie Die Another Day. This car can be seen chasing James Bond's Aston Martin Vanquish V12 across a frozen lake. You can take a look at the vehicles used in the latest bond film No Time To Die in our video here: • Bond in Motion - No Ti... .
2005 Custom Citroen Dispatch - The League of Gentleman
Barbara's Pink 'Babs Cabs' Taxi from The League of Gentleman is next. This is a distinctive 2005 Citroen Dispatch that drives residents of Royston Vasey around. Barbara is voiced by the actor Steve Pemberton. Originally the taxi was a bright pink Mazda minicab from 1999 to 2002 but was changed to the Citroen for the three special episodes in 2017
1954 Custom Ford Popular 103E - Doctor Who
Doctor Who's car Bessie follows. This is a 1954 Ford Popular 103E with a fibreglass tourer body made by Siva Engineering of Dorset fitted. The car first appeared in 1970 in the episode Doctor Who and the Silurians.
Piaggio Ape - Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie
The Piaggio Ape, from Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie where Eddy and Patsy make their bid to escape from the police trying to track them down.
BMW Isetta 300 - Heartbeat
The next car is from ITV's police drama Heartbeat. A 1962 right hand drive red BMW Isetta 300 driven by Gina Ward played by actress Tricia Penrose.
1967 Reliant Regal Supervan III - Only Fools and Horses
Perhaps the most recognisable of all the cars here is Trotters Independent Traders yellow 1967 Reliant Regal Supervan III belonging to Del Boy played by actor David Jason from the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses. Often mistaken for a Reliant Robin / Robin Reliant
1979 Austin Morris Mini - Mr Bean
The Mini from the Mr Bean series played by the actor Rowan Atkinson. The is a 1979 Austin Morris Mini which featured in the third series of Mr Bean aired on 1st January 1991. In this episode, Mr Bean discovers he does not have enough change for the multi-storey car park ticket machine and tries to outwit the exit barrier
Previous cars in the exhibition include Elvis Presley's Cadillac and other famous cars can be seen throughout the National Motor Museum including an original Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on display and a replica that you can be driven around the Beulieu grounds in.
On screen Cars is included in the admission ticket to Beaulieu which also offers entrance to the National Motor Museum and its collection of 100’s of vehicles, World of Top Gear, the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House, Monorail, Little Beaulieu Play Area and its stunning grounds and gardens.

Beulieu is a great place, we usually go a few a times a year as there is always new vehicles, exhibitions and shows going on
