I likeit when a fight breaks out and Ibou jogs up with a smile on his face, calmly moves his team mates out the way, and gently ushers all the opposition players away like he's getting chickens back into their coop. I love this about him. He plays hard, he tackles hard, and he uses his size, strength, and pace to his advantage in the game. But he never makes it personal, he's always fair and respectful, and he never goes in harder than he needs to. Also he's a massive Dragon Ball Z fan, so opposing players know that he could go Super Saiyan. They do not want that.

It’s because he is black, he would be well respected as one of the best young defenders in world football if he was white. Let speak some truths.. He is still a very young player, playing with a ageing Big VD. And also having to come out from CD to cover for Trent who cannot defend on the right hand side.. lfc are asking too much of the young man but he is still excelling, but he will pick up injury’s being ask to do too much. Both matep and Gomez are no good as well. I wish we had two of him at the back.

I made a comment earlier, that black players must be twice, if not 3 times better than there white counterparts to be recognised. That’s a fact. Historically there is many examples of this.. John Barnes being one of many.. I also said that there is still racism institutional in many aspects of the game and ppl either don’t understand it or choose to ignore it because it don’t effect them personally.. when things like this is mentioned, you get called racist yourself but the true problems get accepted.. It’s called accepted racism.. try to understand what racism is before trying to tell me what my comments sounds like.. trying to change the narrative will Not change the problem.. Konaté is an old fashioned solid defender like used to be icons like Nesta. The issue today is that the fantasque managers want defenders who cannot defend 😅 At Barcelona we have defenders who can't defend one-on-one 😂 like another french defender Kounde. Kounde is liked by the coach for his qualities: fashionista 😂 popular on social media 😂 making long balls on the pitch, accurate passes, respect tactical instructions (stay in position and move the ball around) But Kounde cannot defend. Last game he got tormented by a pocket forward on long balls 😅
