Agreed. "He was best known for his role playing Chuck McDonald in the Bob Cummings Show"??? What? Who? It's hard to imagine a world without Dobie, Maynard G. Krebs (who else mentioned the name of Thelonious Monk on network TV in the late 1950s?), Zelda, Chatsworth Osborne Jr., etc. Tuesday Weld and Warren Beatty would be unknowns without "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"

My Mother really liked Howard Hesseman’s role as Doctor Johnny Fever on WKRP in Cincinnati. That TV show was one of the few that she would make a point to watch. The scene that got her hooked was when the Station changed its format to Rock & Roll and Johnny ripped the old record off the turn table to replace it with a Rock Recording. She described his laugh as fiendish and funny at the same time. ;D

We all have bucket lists and try to do everything in the bucket while constantly adding more to the bucket. I think when it is our time and we can look back and say it has been one heck of a ride, we should be able to look at our bucket and smile realizing how much we enjoyed this life. I tell my children not to mourn my death, but celebrate my life, as i will go with few regrets.

I have the attitude that so many we like have already passed, so when is our turn we have something to look forward too. We all have bucket lists and continuously add to them and always trying to accomplish what is in the bucket. I don't think anyone ever empties the bucket completely, but when it is our time to pass we can look back and say it has been one heck of a ride. That is what is important. Enjoy life to the fullest.
