The trumpet section this year is ridiculous. So strong and clean, and they are hitting the high notes with perfect pitch. Not pinching and squeezing the upper octaves like most bands. Love the way the arranger began the melody with the saxes for softer tones then brought in the trombones to finish the melody for power emphasis. Stank face made at 0:39 most definitely! Whew!

This is a good band. I haven't heard FAMU this balanced since 1998! CLARITY! I'm particularly pleased with the trumpet section! Based on how Dr. Chipman is conducting, he KNOWS he has a good group this year!
