It’s so good to read all of the positive comments from other HBCU, this is a time we should congratulate Famu and Alabama State and the HBCU drumline we can wait for football season for bragging rights. Proud of these students today, they have been representing Florida, Tallahassee, Leon County, alumni’s through the country. #FAMU proud

Everytime I see one of these amazing *HBCU* marching bands it always upset me that this excellence is not mirrored in our HBCU football and basketball teams. I wish more (if not most) of our top black high school athletes would choose Universities like *Florida A&M, Alabama State, Southern* etc instead of Alabama, Oklahoma, Clemson etc. There is no reason why the HBCUs should not be the gold standard in College sports especially *Football Basketball and Track* These Universities are so underfunded, and so under appreciated by our own people.
