Not sure you could do this today. Besides the $10-billion satellite hookup to Long Island, space, and back, there was probably another million in damages to that nice man's laundromat. Man, do I miss Dave in the 80s. Well, and the 80s, too.

Again, this is when television actually meant something. I remember when Dave attempted to come back during the 1988 writers strike and they couldn’t even do a decent top 10 list without the writers, but he tried his best to make things work on his show.
