@@Beefcream yes and no. The 6th generation and Sun and Moon ( not Ultrasun and Ultramoon) is another timeline that is different from the 1st to the 5th. Proof of that is the mega evolution of Rayquaza which never happend in the main line games and the presence of 2 Lookers but it's not the weapon that caused neither the split in the timeline nor the mega evolution . They were already in the new timeline and mega evolution is caused by the meteorite that Az used for the final weapon

I think everyone likes to think of her as the champion cause she's in that slot that typically the "final boss" of a game is. But she isn't even the final boss of the gym challenge storyline. You still go fight Nemona after that to finish that storyline. Sada/Turo is the real "champion". At least in the sense they're the final boss of the main story like the champion typically is.

So while it's likely their name means time paradox (or interdimensional paradox), it could've also just meant a regular paradox. Something that contradicts something else and doesnt make sense why it exists, etc. So yea, a dreamed up to reality pokemon would be a paradox by technicality due to all the evidence supporting the fact they could be dreamed up. So yeah, still a paradox. Because paradoxes aren't just exclusive to time. (I personally believe the cutscene itself doesnt fully shut down the theory that it's a dreamed up reality because of the fact you wake up in your bed afterwards (which makes no sense. And while you could say its just cuz the game was backed out of and reloaded, I dont think thatd make sense because of the fact it's not implied a day past since the incident. But who knows. I believe the cutscene itself makes every theory viable and equally canon, up to the players interpretation kinda thing. Because it kinda supports all theories if you think about it long enough.)

I'm still not convinced that Geeta isn't evil. She authorizes an incredibly unqualified person to head an expedition of untrained teenagers into the most dangerous area in the known world, mistreats her employees (except Rika and Poppy for some reason), and acts as though everything is according to some giant plan of hers. Yeah so when they release a teaser for something that’s almost done already not really easy to change the entire story and dialogue of all characters even if they wanted to. It’s also a lot easier to just think up a really “cool” idea like the entire region being a Pokémon (idk how that could ever work) but it’s a lot harder to actually put into practice. How would the battle go down how would you ever catch terapagos how would that work with a gigantic crater being in the middle of its shell, what would the story be, what npcs would you talk to, what would their motives and dialogue be. Even just random trainers teams and battle dialogue would have to all change

Yes, she is blinded by her determination to find Terapagos like Rose was to solve the energy crisis many years into the future. I think if we were able to see more of a story with Ms. Briar and her plans further, it would be on the same level as Rose, but it was mostly shown as the second half of Indigo Disk, and didn't give a more sinister motive. So I would say Ms. Briar is as dangerous as Rose, but not as evil as him.

What I loved was that I was correct on the whole Time Machine thing. Again a Mechanized Apocalyptic Future makes sense in a technologically advanced world, hell it makes sense with artificial mons like Type Null and Magearna (especially her). Follow me here, Humans do stupid things. Especially with edgelords like Ghetsis or Lysandre things can get shitty, Its completely possible that before or in the NEAR future one of these nut cases causes a Full Pokemon Wipeout. Pokehumans have adapted their society around Pokemon, so who is to say the most genius professors used their knowledge to create Robot versions of Pokemon using OUR completed pokedexes. We got people like Jacq who study their biology, Hop who may research into the next step of wishing stars, Junaiper with her knowledge of the ancient times and ofcourse Samuel Oak with his I am Pokemon-ness. Their data can be used to bring back what was once lost. This time aiding humans even more, Santa Birds of the past now a fun toy for kids to mess around with water and snow, Guardians who had the souls to protect humans even if it meant summoning black holes, Solar based UFOs to search for hospitable lands or even Giant Sumo Mechs to engage the spark in people to fight again. Even Legendaries known for their tenacity to protect the weak with the grace of nature, the might of a mountain or the will of steel brought back to aid with the dying population. It's just the past that doesn't work for me. It HAS to be some alternate timeline where cats and dogs are lizards. It would have been so cool if the past pokemon really represented our world's evolutions brought back from different eras, large Posion Fairy Amoongus Anscestors (ASC) that had existed before plant life grew to better conditions, A showcase of defensive mimicry from a Bug who looked like apex predators of the time (grown a Bug Dragon and not a random Fighting type instead), Scream Tails ACTUALLY USING A TAIL and not hair (think if it had a more predatory nature and a large Ball at the end), and Skies soared by Phantoms who were Flyers rather than Fairies(?). I dont at all buy that Emo Goth Dinosaurs were the ancestors of an alternate/all pokemon timeline, Even for a game like pokemon it's not buyable.

I didn't want to meet the real one, not like that. The crystal pool is said to be where you can see spirits of the dead. I wanted to talk to them after they died and find out what "Paradise" was to them and why they were going to endanger all Paldea for it. And moreover I wanted Arven to be there when it happened! I like that MandJTV played into the time travel theory, by making Night Sky Mikey an alternate future Sky Mikey, who turned real bad. @BJGvideos I could see a possibility in the Pokemon world where Growlithe breeders managed to unlock the genes that result in the Hisuian form. The Kleavor we see in the Terarium could also be a possibility. There seems to be an outcropping of Black Augerite in the Mountain biome. That all could depend on where they sourced the minerals to make the Terarium's land The Ursaluna is more of a cryptid, like The Lock Ness Monster being a Plesiosaur, or Big Foot being a Gigantopithecus. Clearly, a long exstinct species found mystetiously in the modern age. The point is, all of these have some better explanation than "It's all just imagination, the turtle you never met knows what you think an Amoongus looks like as a dinosaur!"

I felt so vindicated when the imagination theory got cut off at the knees. For a year I was being bombarded with baseless claims about a dumb theory that squandered the themes of the story, so to see it completely written off was so satisfying. Especially since that brief scene was actually a very lovely send off to the games, and I wish it had been saved for the release of Mochi Madness. Not saying the ideas presented in the imagination theory weren’t interesting, the “evidence” was just completely baseless and not supported by in-game text, so it just got annoying after a while seeing people tout it as gospel and calling me dumb for thinking the Time Machine was a Time Machine, lol.

Think so many people were convinced of it because the main leaker people got information from before release said it was like that. Which would have been fine, if it hadnt been shown that leaker sometimes just gave wrong information, like him saying iron valiant was not a fusion of gardevoir and gallade and was just based on gardevoir. Despite that, people took that theory to heart, even when nothing in the game really suported it. I'm personally glad it was finally disproven, maybe this will let people realize leakers are often very subjective when they share stuff, and often cant help but to shove their own theories into their leaks as if they were true

If you tell someone something is a certain way before they actually get the thing, that perception they’ve already developed will ultimately influence how they engage with it. I don’t look at leaks or anything, and I’m huge into Pokémon lore, so playing Scarlet I just saw the time travel stuff as a natural offshoot from Legends: Arceus. But also, just, the idea of magic crystals that can manifest things from peoples’ imaginations making someone think they made a time machine that isn’t actually a time machine instead of just making a time machine is one of those classic bad writing types of scenarios, so I just genuinely could t take it seriously, lol.

The post-game cutscene actually kinda strengthens the wish theory, as well as the past-future theory imo, through wishes and desires being made real, often to disastrous lengths (examples being the Miraidon/Koraidon that killed the prof and the fact that Kieran's wish to be stronger almost killed the squad)

I like that Terapagos is so tiny. It's kind of absurdly awesome that something that can fit in the palm of your hand has enough power to reshape an entire region. Plus, I do think its battle form resembling Paldea was still intentional, and it's a cool detail.

The wishes one isn't destroyed. It can easily be that instead of creating, terapagos justs takes the nearest thing to the wish made from another dimension. Terapagos has never had the power to make things travel through time and the professor at the lake didn't use nor even build the time machine yet, so it's likely terapagos just granted a wish using dimensional powers of some sort. I hate this notion because it’s an established precedent in the Pokémon world that when a Pokémon assumes a more powerful form, sometimes they revert to a more basal state (Groudon/Kyogre, Mega Aerodactyl, Necrozma, Kyurem, Giratina). The Beasts’ Paradox counterparts make complete sense when this is kept in mind. The Pokémon that died in the Brass Tower fire were descended from the Legendary Beast Paradox Pokémon, when Ho-Oh used its power to turn them into Legendary Pokémon, they assumed forms similar to their ancient, more powerful ancestors.

That would be a hell of a twist. The AIs are limited to only Area Zero because they're powered off the crystals there (which is going to likely mean AI Sada has to go dormant in the past until the crystals actually grow enough to power her up), and they very notably don't have a breathing process. Meanwhile Geeta is not only able to move around Paldea as she pleases, she can even travel to a region on the other side of the ocean, and she moves when she respirates like everyone else. The AIs would feel so cheated if Geeta was a robot.
