Funny enough I've had I bought one of these too from alixpress a few months a go now and it's been working fine ..doesnt get too hot etc etc ..works as expected so can't complain so far specially at such a steal of a price compared to the genuine one

If you need warranty work from Fanatec, you're gonna be denied if you haven't purchased the boost kit power supply. The wheel base logs what wattage it runs at. They can look at log and find out that the model you sent in for warranty work (along with your 5nm power supply) that you boosted the base without the corresponding OEM power supply.

Hey mate! Hope you see this. I've been considering upgrading from the g29 because it started feeling like a cheap toy, and i want something more serious and better. Im playing on ps5. I've been looking at the new thrustmaster, but people say that it isn't amazing, build quality and etc. So im now thinking of saving a little bit more for the fanatec one. I want more than 5nm, so i was thinking of getting the fanatec gt dd pro without the boost kit 180 because oh my god, that is expensive and get the normal 5nm version. Then, get this power supply. Wanted to ask if there have been any problems for now. Thanks for the review. Amazing and honest. 👍

Personally i would recommend fanatec if you have the budget. Thinkgs i would get would be the load cell as that made a massive difference to my style of driving and boost kit wise it's a game changer I would still recommend the original but have used this one for long races of over 2hrs and never had any issues. Still going strong with being used most days

I bought an offhand brand power supply that matched the identical specs of power input and output as the fanatec booster and it does NOT work. Don't waste your money if you have the newer QR2 model of the csl dd you need to buy the fanatec version. Sad but true

You would be using a non official product which means if it did go wrong it would likely void the warranty.
