thank you for the video. changing the spring was extremely simple. following your video of course. the stock soft spring was waaaay too soft for me and the heavy spring was perfect. wish it was just a tiny more heavier for my liking

just tried it in iracing and assetto corsa Its made a lot of difference. The throttle was just too soft and no resistance as stock red one.. For anyone who bought a set of V3 pedals I think you need to try this simple mod out, especially as the black stronger spring comes with the set of pedals for free.. And again Thanks Nice easily explained video to follow

thanks man I'm trying nascar heat evolution right now I'll check those settings and thanks for sharing barely any info out there for this stuff guess it how you want it really.
@TJRSIM8 жыл бұрын
Yeah not much info on youtube about wheel settings. For Nascar oval driving I would start at FOR: 60 You don't want a lot of extra amplified force on oval racing like you do on road coarse racing.

What length is the spring?
@Spider-Coco-Man3 жыл бұрын
Hey! To start, thank you to google translate and sorry if there are any mistakes, I'm French 😉 I just ordered the pedal + the shock absorber that I would put on the brake but the black part that you install on the accelerator pedal is useful to what? 🤔
@TJRSIM3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for watching. Yes installing the spring on the accelerator is much better. It’s still to light for my liking but improved slightly. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to stiffen the clutch or would i just find a stiffer spring somewhere that fits?
@TJRSIM11 ай бұрын
Just by the clutch spring replacement. They offer a heavier one in the kit as well. It’s black to replace the red one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6TIe3erht6dorMsi=u9E-f27I2Bb92iJG

hit, great video... i have 2 questions for u.... i have a thrustmaster t3pa pedal there are a big different with the csp v3? if i buy it i feel a lot of difference between my pedal and this? the damper kit is fundamental to feel the real felling? thanks
@TJRSIM9 жыл бұрын
+Fabio Principessa From what I know about the t3pa pedals they don't even compete the Fanatec V3 pedals. The t3pa are basically entry level pedals and good at what they do for the price range. The Fanatec V3 pedals will be a big upgrade from those and welcome to the major leagues ;). With the Fanatec V3 pedals you will get all metal construction that will not flex on you during heavy breaking situations. You also get a load cell brake that is a lot more precise then the conical rubber mod on the t3pa pedals. You should also notice a improvement in the throttle as well with 4095 steps of resolution. The clutch is a different story as well on the V3 pedals. You get a more natural feeling push over the hump feeling that you get in a real car. All this plus the addition of extra pedal faces and the ability to upgrade springs and even the brake. Try them out I'm sure you will love them. You will want to leave them out for people to see as they also look so damn cool! Try this link to Fanatec as it also helps out my website and this channel. BTW these bad boys are in stock. www.fanatec.com/index.php?a_aid=530f70c9068fe&a_bid=fa9428ed

Is it possible to change positions of brake with clutch?
@larryray68219 жыл бұрын
+abrassard You mean you want the clutch to be in the middle where the brake is?
@abrassard9 жыл бұрын
+Larry Ray (TJRSIM) yes cause i have a playseat and the column is in the middle. I dont use clutch as i play mostly f1
@TJRSIM9 жыл бұрын
+abrassard Ahh i see. Yeah I have not tried that, but believe it's possible. Your biggest problem will be with the wires as they will not be long enough after moving it around. You may be able to swap the clutch wire with the brake wire to work for ya. I used to use the same Playseat, but later swapped to rSeat Evo to get rid of the center post, plus the rseat was built better and more comfy. Hope this helps.

Just put the pedal extension on the throttle, now I’ve noticed there’s a bit of play on the throttle, but clutch and brake are solid, anybody else noticed play in the throttle?
@TJRSIM5 жыл бұрын
Just sounds like the pedal is a tad loose on one of the bolts. They loosen up from time to time with transducer attached as well
@fredericgrifnee22107 жыл бұрын
Hello, small question, is it possible to move and put more space between throtthle and brake ?
@TJRSIM7 жыл бұрын
Frederic Grifnee No I regards of actually movimg the whole throttle assy over. But you can adjust the foot plates to be spaced future or closer together. I know what you might be looking for because with wide shoes you could hang up on your own feet is you have wide feet.
@cnckart6 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can do it, but it's a pain. You have to take the whole pedal assembly apart, and then you can take the spacers off by the clutch, on the outboard side, slide the clutch over, slide the brake over. Then put the spacers you took out, between the brake and the throttle. Your brake to clutch spacing will be the same, and your throttle and brake will have a wider spacing. Everything will shift to the left except the throttle. It's seriously a chore to do.

Hi TJRSim great vid, can you tell me where you purchased your longer/stronger springs for clutch and Accelerator pedals !? Having a look UK side and cant seem to find anything specific !? Big Thanks.
@TJRSIM8 жыл бұрын
Thanks!. The stronger springs actually come with the Fanatec V3 pedals. They are included for free. Pretty cool and no longer do you need to buy them separately

big thanks, maybe have to get me a set of the V3s then ;-)

+TJRSim I thought so. Yeah I'm looking for a new set of pedals to go with my driving force gt. I love the wheel, but the pedals are a bit lacking in my opinion.
@TJRSIM9 жыл бұрын
+simracr94 I hear ya. I love the pedals. They are by far the best Fanatec has brought out. Really feel a diffference even over the v1 pedals. It will be night and day difference for you coming from those pedals. You will really dig them.

Can it be used for PS4 with the T300 RS THRUSTMASTER wheel?

No. These can be used for PS4 but when plugged into the Fanatec Clubsport V1 or V2 base.

Hey dude... just got my pedals today. I installed the damper kit on the break. I also used the mount they supplied for the vibration motor. Now the motor is loose and very loud when I test it in the control panel. Is that normal? How's yours?
@TJRSIM8 жыл бұрын
actually I have not tried the new brake kit upgrade yet. I would double check the screws on the little motor to make sure it's tight and also proper clearance around the motor to insure it's not hitting anything.

Vibrations do not work on Project cars 2 on pc via USB .... whyyyy ???
@TJRSIM7 жыл бұрын
that's weird. That's the first thing I noticed working on mine with PCARS2. Make sure your on the latest firmware updates for your pedals. Plug them into the PC directly and update. Let me know if that fixes it.
@stanislavcoros7 жыл бұрын
TJRSim is It working for you after updating firmware ?
@TJRSIM7 жыл бұрын
Yes. I happened to do a firmware update like a month ago because I was experimenting with different wheel updates when the V2.5 came out. So I updated my pedals and shifter at that time.

Is the v3 still holding up nicely?
@TJRSIM6 жыл бұрын
Oh wow how time flys. It's actually been 2.5 years now and the only thing I had to do was re-lube the bushings to get rid of the squeaky gas pedal. They are actually holding up really well. Here is a link to them if you want to get some. goo.gl/oWRku6

Yeah thanks man I'm really having a hard time with Fanatec right now , my Base is still at their shop, 3 weeks now, right now I hate them.
@TJRSIM6 жыл бұрын
Camera WithWings that sucks. That's a long time. I sent my base in once the V2 as the port went out. And didn't recognize my pedals. I believe it took around 2 weeks or more. It sucks I know. Makes you want to spend money to have a back up wheel.

@TJRSIM5 жыл бұрын
Yes, they have little motors that create a vibration for the brake and throttle.
