Thanks a bunch mate. I had a throttle dead zone problem with my CSP V3 after almost 3 years, time and use making things worst. I just resolved my issue thanks to your video. Signal is perfectly synchro with pedal movment now. As a bonus, signal is at 100% when I fully presse the pedal. There is no more gap to reach 100%. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for posting this video! I've been having the throttle problem from time to time, and would do small adjustments, but eventually I decided to do a full teardown and rebuild this past weekend. Thanks to this video the part about the pin with the magnet was the key to making sure everything was put set correctly, and after finishing I found all was working properly again. Thanks again!!

I know this is quite an old video but wanted to comment that you're correct the upper holes don't work for changing where the pivot point is. The upper holes are for the additional damper to mount to. Apologies if someone already said this.

I own the V3 inverted and I am experiencing like 50% max throttle and the 100% value max kept going lower and I had to readjust the value often. Now I see exactly what the problem is and I will fix tonight. I will comment about the results after I try this to fix the problem.

I have some issues about my throttle like this. I will disassemble this weekend that it’s usefull way i hope. Thanks for the video. If this way does not work i’m going to try change clutch sensor to throttle one.
@pali1H5 жыл бұрын
For sure! They are pretty sensitive so they can be easily misaligned or interfered with. I'd also buy an extra one to have laying around so you aren't without their use until one arrives. Switching it for the clutch one will work great.

Thank you this helped me a lot. Shame that it the problem resufaced itself after 2 weeks... I dont really know should I redo the process since it was super annoying to take part from my rig and put it back in...
@pali1H Жыл бұрын
No problem! Do you use the clutch? If not, I would try to use the sensor from that on your throttle pedal first, see if the issue goes away. If it goes away I'd try to buy a new throttle sensor. If it is still happening, it could be the main board PCB under the pedals, behind the shield itself starting to go. I'm not sure on parts availability these days with these pedals. I'd email Fanatec support to see if they still sell the PCB for this. I had to do that a long time ago and it wasn't very expensive.

hey guys i started to get a little throttle problem wher the throttle was only going up to about 90% under full pressure and also when i release the throttle pedal the bar in the drivers was bouncing around a little bit as if i was gently pushing the pedal,sometimes unplugging the ps2 cable and back in again solved it for a few hours but the problem comes back,so by tightening the spring at the back of the pedal and slightly loosening off the screws on the sensor it solved the problem (for now) good video

Hi, I tried to adjust my throttle throw earlier (which I’ve done 2 times prior) I connected it to the laptop and then re-adjusted the min/max inputs for the throttle. At this point it was connected and the throttle was responding on the laptop. I’ve then tried to go on f1 but the throttle isn’t responding. (Brake still is) Tried turning it all off/on again and nothing. When I connect it back to the laptop the pedals don’t even register. Any ideas? Can’t be coincidence that I’ve messed about with throttle and it’s the only part of pedal not working, but why would it not be detected by the laptop? Thanks in advance

Same issue here, but in the U.S. I need a hall sensor, but can't get fanatec to send me one. By the time i pay shipping, labor, & parts I can buy a new unit. It's ridiculous.

Thanks for the video! I decided to give it a try after my throttle would constantly top out at 98% unless I really pressed hard on it. When I opened it up, I found that the magnet has a crack and some bits broken off. Do you forsee this being a problem? Or will it still work normally? I have it put back together now, and it seemed to be working fine. But it always works fine for a while after reconnecting the usb.
@pali1H9 жыл бұрын
+kevko5212 No problem! It should be ok. I wouldn't worry about that. I also found out an interesting thing. My throttle to wouldn't go to 100% recently, even when unplugging. I read somewhere that the load cell on the brake can actually cause this. I didn't believe it as my brake was working fine. I changed the hall sensor but still I couldn't get the throttle to 100%. I then swapped the load cell just to try it and it worked perfectly! Very odd.
@chrispictures12 жыл бұрын
So you took it apart and put it back exactly the same, but did not say what needs to be done to fix a non working gas pedal.
@pali1H2 жыл бұрын
Hey Christopher. It is in the description of the video. If it isn't fixed by the process shown in the video, new parts will be needed. These hall sensors usually didn't last too long. What I was showing in the video is the magnet pin sliding out of place, hall sensor too loose or too tight can cause throttle issues. Taking it apart, cleaning and re mounting normally fixed issues. If it didn't then parts need to be ordered.

oh you have no idea , push the gas spring you can move it with a finger and remove the pin , its easy . No the hall effect sensor does not detect the magnet as it rotates , for it does not rotate , look at it , it moves 0 in respect to the board , 0 movement. So what it does is uses that magnet as a 0 , to compare with i guess some kind of other mechanism like a gyroscope or something , just look at pin does not rotate in respect to the pedal , so the magnet does no rotate , nor does the board since its on the pedal , all of it remains fixed . So its not how it works
