Very nice! Only one problem I see with this is it’s going to sit way lower than your handbrake handle. Unless you don’t use a handbrake. But still a nice item

I've always preferred to run my handbrake a few inches higher than the shifter. For me, it just feels more natural that way.

@@SleepyPantsSimRacingyes I know they’re ways to fix it up. But some people will have to buy extra brackets and bolt/T nut and profile. I have extras of that stuff but some people have barely minimum. So may not work for everyone. I do like it though and very nice.

In this case, I would say size definitely DOES matter, if mounting options are strict, this would be a perfect solution. While it doesn't have as much available resistance as the V2 or upcoming V3, it has just enough and it feels unique and satisfying still. I was going into this unit expecting it to have far less resistance than it has so it was a pleasant surprise. It feels similar to the Simagic Q1s in a lot of ways, as I said in the video, it feels mechanical in some ways even though it is a magnetic shifter. Coolest thing about that is no springs to wear out! Same feeling shift every time!

This feels better but if you already have an aiologs I would say that's already a pretty decent sequential unless you are looking for a more pronounced shift feel.

@@Countrymusicnumber1 There is no tension or throw distance adjustment on this shifter. It breaks at about 8 lbs (measured from halfway up the knob)

As in make the knob taller? You could but it would lessen the sensation.

Extending the lever would negatively impact the performance of this shifter. If you need it to be taller, I'd recommend getting a riser, or side mounting it on a piece of profile at the desired height.

@atechcheck i feel you. It seems pricey for how simple of a device it is, but there is a pretty awesome magnetic system inside that is unique to oktane. He is great at maximizing mechanical feel in a tiny package. This is definitely not an entry-level priced item, and you could get more value out of other pieces of gear potentially, but this is an item you would purchase after you are already well set up. For instance, I own 2 shifters that are more expensive than most my other gear, I own a bdh shifter which I paid 1.3k for and a bash that I paid around 1.1k for. I could purchase a whole rig almost for those prices but those items I would never buy before I was well setup with the rest of my gear. I will say that the V3 sequential is more practical but the mini is more intended for small spaces.
