Taken from the real world - VNM new SQ Shifter

VNM Simulation is new player on the sim market with really good quality products and logical prices with main goal of maximum realism in simulation and the new SQ shifter looks like great step into realistic gearbox racing experience!
The sets is done on Automobilista2 with the Mitsubishi Evo RX car on Nordschleife.

Hi and thanks for a top video as always! The shifter seems to work great and have the right feel. But like many other shifters it is way too short in my opinion. Its more like an H pattern or a DSG stick in a road car.

It is 31cm tall and that like 3cm shorter from the SG for example! It is not very short with the extension but that also can be easy fix with taller extension! We can suggest to VNM to do taller extensions 😃

Decision made. After time spent with the Moza SQ, which works very well at that price point, now I'm ordering the VNM SQ, over the Simagic Q1s. Your thorough reviews make my decisions easy peasy!!!

Damn, got the VNM SQ installed and if you can afford it, it's worth the price! As real as real can be, GT1 C6.R for the win! The Moza SQ is going on the back-up rig. Thanks for the review as always RBM.

Looks better construction than the Simagic Q1. I Have one of those and it broke after less than 8 months use.

@@chepilevski it was a part inside the gearing, it got repaired under warranty. Basically it slipped off the gear due to a metal part failing inside the mechanism. Apparently it’s quite common. I wonder how much longevity testing Simagic do on their products? I also had a P2000 brake fail with a leak in the hydraulic cylinder. This was after less than a year as well.

@@andrewtsousis3130 did you manage to replace the Hydraulic System under warranty? And what was your experience with the customer service? One thing im always afraid of with hydraulic systems is those leaks. I have set my P2000 on friend rig and they are in use for almost two years on daily basis without a problem but I don’t know how often those leaks are for that unit. Do you know if that is a common problem too?

SG is still my personal favorite shifter in therms of feeling but this is definitely more mechanical! If mechanical feeling is what you are looking for then yes but again, I personally prefer the SG

It’s a shame I tried to order this shifter 2 weeks ago and last week again, half the website is English half it unknown language which is weird to have 2 different languages on the same page for different sections on the page so you can only understand half the page ( contact us and info is all English but than other parts are not makes no sense…)went to check out filled information and refused to give me a shipping price so I could not fully check out emailed them twice never heard from them so I went with pro-sim Website felt like a scam to bad shifter looks ok for the price

Depends on the country you're purchasing from. It's currently not available from any US distributor yet. You can't buy directly from VNM, you need to buy from their authorized distributor.

VNM is from Vietnam. Wait for them to come to your distributor. I've bought my VNM handbreak and H/Seq shifter from us.sim-motion who also has a EU store. Their products are quality don't let a forien language to you make you think its a scam. They have a distributors list link at the top that is in English

sorry for hearing that. Due to web platform in Vietnam, it doesnt support international shipping and the current template has issue with translation . I will find another other platform to support this and full English soon :)! And this shifter will be available in US in this month :).
