You can of course simply use the metal quick release on the WRC wheel, in which case you get the full torque from the wheelbase.

I don’t really the full torque on my DD1 I crashed once and the rim went crazy. So I decided to use it on low torque with around 83 force feedback and I happy with the way it works.

Nice Channel! Does this wheel make use of the full 8nm of the csl dd with boost kit? Or is there also a cap like on the Podium?

@@mojsterpepi It's a great combination! I have the CSL DD and the McLaren rim myself. The rim is just the right size for GT or open wheel driving. Has a bunch of buttons and nobs too.

Hmm, why did they not make the gear paddles static if it is branded as a WRC rim...

How? Static Paddles have to be mounted to the base so they don't rotate with the Wheel. And exactly this option is given to you with this WRC wheel because you can remove the Paddles and use the Static Shifter Set.

@@momorious how are you thinking about pricing towards the consumers? they could make the rim simpler ie cheaper and offered an even simpler static paddle set compared to the one they offer now. You do know that rims and such is super cheap and the margins are crazy anyway..

@@Pillokun oh wheels are far from cheap to make with that much electronics etc. Who knows what they bring in the future, this is the first WRC licensed product from many to come. This was just the start.

Hi! I've been using the said wrc wheel since November, now the right shifter lost its click. The left side is fine, wondering possible to change both shifters to the magnetic ones?

I wonder as well, because the shifters are probably the first thing to go bad. QR won't be an issue in the future probably because of QR2, but shifters would probably need modding.

I think the shifters suck. Howeve,r obviously rally drivers have the best car control, ergo a round wheel is better than a silly shaped wheel and you will instantly have superior car control. In the future there is a direct drive wheelbase from Fanatec and its compatible with this wheel. Also for £15 there's a magnetic shifter mod that Fanatec were too tight to give you.
