He's not an invalid nor a tool, fanatics doesn't make his decisions for him. This fanatics commercials to sell jerseys came out the very next day after the Stanley Cup finals were over, possibly to avoid any criticism of Matthews (and the leafs by extension) not being in the playoffs. Either Matthews didn't get Keith Pelley's memo about pretending its not about the money, or Keith Pelley never meant what he said .

@@shawklan27 They'e absolutely gonna keep making cheap jerseys as that a huge percentage of market sales and still fanatics bread and butter. But that said, I think they are gonna also sell top notch authentics, as they are seeing theres a market opportunity in light of recent pro jersey controversies. I think Fanatics is gonna go all out to impress fans with there first officially licensed professional jerseys. This is beyond just NHL for Fanatics, this is a showcasing to all the pro leagues of what exactly Fanatics is capable of producing under there own manufacturing/production control.

The Premium is equivalent to the adidas made in indonesia, the top version you can buy now. The Authentic Pro is the exact same version they wear in games and is Made in Canada, which adidas and reebok did not offer to the public. They actually look really nice, are made in the same factory, are made with the same materials (other than the new holographic NHL badge and the shoulder panel texture swap), and have improvements on the adidas versions already like the reinforced elbows. I'm really not sure why everyone's assuming they were going to outfit teams with the heat transfer Breakaway jerseys in a professional contact sport. If anyone actually thought that they're pretty stupid. And before you mention MLB, Fanatics was only contracted to make them to the exact specs that Nike gave them. With the NHL they have control of the full end-to-end process.

I really hope that the on-ice jerseys are of good quality. I'm sure every hockey fan knows fanatics doesn't have the best reputation at this point, but actually manufacturing the teams' on-ice jerseys are a huge way to redeem themselves for many fans if they turn out to be good. I'm going to wait until other people buy them and review them before I purchase one for myself, but I have high hopes fanatics pulls through with these.

Jerseys felt like they were made of a higher quality back when reebok was doing them. I’ve ordered quite a few jerseys through ShopNhl over the years. But my only two adidas ones that I own, I honestly hardly wear either of them because they just feel so generic and cheaply made. A quick horror story I thought I’d share. I ordered an Adidas Jersey last year that I had to wait almost two months for. Was never made aware of any type of back order or factory delay. I felt like my order just got lost and forgotten about, plain and simple. When I would call customer service to complain about the prolonged waiting period, I noticed that their customer service support was through fanatics already. When I asked where they are located, I discover it was a call center located in the Philippines. I spoke with multiple agents on multiple occasions and I could just tell by their tone and verbiage that their customer support is completely scripted word for word. The whole ordeal was just upsetting. When I got the Jersey I immediately felt buyers remorse. This did not feel like or look like a $300 jersey. I hope this isn’t a sign of what to regularly expect from Fanatics.
