Thank you for your articulate reaction. Sinful Passion, this version, is one of my absolute all time favourite performances of Dimash. Yes, his jacket is awesome. But let’s talk about his hair, phew. The way he moves, his hand movements, are fascinating to watch. And… his voice is…. I find myself holding my breath during this hypnotic performance. ☮️💐🇨🇦

I am just so happy that you're back reacting to Dimash again. I've done a little happy dance every time I've seen one pop up. It's quite usual for him to remove an ear monitor, it usually foretells when he's about to take it through the rafters. He moves about quite a bit on stage (that's an understatement, he jumps, runs and dances) so he's always breaking them onstage anyway. After a lifetime of being used to arrogant artists, Dimash still amazes me that he's so grounded and humble. So grateful for the support of his fans and still so focused on promoting peace and unity in the world.

I love this fancam version. It's more unusual for him not to remove the monitors. I wonder if in this case, it was a technical problem. Like in the Daididau performance at Bastau.

Well, either way, It still takes a VERY skilled performer to do it. And yes, I am back! Had some serious gremlins in the system and had to completely wipe the system and start over with everything.

It is a very good version for a fancam. I could imagine with his range, he could easily blow them out. LOL Like the old commercial of the lady breaking glass by singing.

Thank you for your reaction and a lot of thanks to the Dear who suggested this performance. This is my first Dimash's song 4 years ago. I remember that I stayed up all night, playing the song over and over. From that moment, he regave my faith to music and humanity. He is showing us the way to be the best we can!

To make the song even more meaningful, hope I'm repeating this correctly, is that kind of sound he makes is used in a tribute to someone who's passed on, and the A Studio Band that often backs him up, the pianist, wrote the song for his wife about 30 years ago and she died fairly recently, so it's a tribute to her, too! He sings it with such heart!

I love the ending on this version.👍🤩🤩🤩 I am always so astonished by good fancams. Likely part of it is due to my very poor photography skills but I am amazed at how one can follow Dimash and stay in focus. He is always all over the place as if his energy bubbles out and is too much to contain in one spot. Maybe he needs a bit more grounding activities in his life.🤣🤣🤣 Great reaction. I loved this version of Sinful Passion. I am also happy to see you back. Have not really seen you much since your birthday. Hope the schooling project is going well.🤘❤️‍🔥🥰 Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Thank you for this reaction. I've seen youtube vocal coaches call that tribal chant different things (caprino vibrato, glottal stops, yodeling, etc.) It's none of these, according to Dimash's own father. He was asked about it by fans: He said it is a technique from the Yakutia, an indigenous nomadic tribe in Siberia. I wish someone would ask Dimash where he learned it.

I agreed to all what you've said. At 29, he already achieved what others couldnt do in their lifetime, however, he is still evolving, i wonder in 5 yrs from now, what else he could do that we might hear in our generation that we wont expect at all. This is why, he is the best of the best, he is full of surprises. His popularity is still not in the same level of BTS, or Mariah C., Celine D., but hopefully, in the near future it will happen. His songs are not for common masses, it needs a specific market which it will take a while for him to break through esp in the West but i hope someday, we will hear his music in the radios in every household.❤dear from canada

"The song Sinful Passion, was first performed in 1998 by the Kazakh group A’STUDIO and gained leading positions in the CIS charts. Sinful love soon visibly materialized in the clip with soloist Batyrkhan Shukenov. The talented vocalist left the band in 2000. Without the lead singer, “Sinful Passion”, recorded with the help of an English producer, lay in obscurity for nearly 20 years, never becoming a worldwide hit until Baigali Serkebaev seized it. He offered Dimash to play it in 2018, twenty years after its premiere. The words of the song are the inspiration of the famous poet and composer, People's Artist of Russia and Ukraine Ilya Reznik. Group A - Studio in 2018 celebrated its 30th anniversary. For his great contribution to the development of the culture of the republic, Baigali Serkebaev was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker of Kazakhstan (here he plays the keyboard). Dimash can be safely called a magician. By the power of his voice and talent, the composition about sinful love came to life out of nowhere."

That performance is an interesting mix between live and playback. The first half is live. The part starting with the soprano until the end of the crazy run is a playback track (the same as the famous 2018 performance), while the final flourishes are live again. Great way to avoid overstraining his voice during a 3h concert.

Mr. Kudaibergen used "khoomei" singing technique in "Sinfull passion". You can hear it from the all Turan group. Tuvan throat singing (Khoomei,xöömei in Tuvan) is one particular variant of overtone singing practiced by people in Turkic Tribes (one of them Tuva), Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Siberia. Dimash's father explaned it. Consequently, the source of "riffs and runs" is from his own culture. Music was a one of the "Big Sins" to arabs for long centuries. (Please just check about of "Cat Stevens' religious conversion". Or ask I-S-IS and Tale-e-ban, if you dare!) Also geographically, Any Turkic country is not in the middle east. Middle east is technically, south of Mediterranean between north of Sub-saharan. Turks are not from the middle east and Turkic blood is not middle eastern and not mixed it. Phonetically Turkic Languages doesn't share similar intonations with Arabic or Persian.
