If Jacqueline did every movie interview ever I wouldn't be upset. This is one of the rare interview moments in which it's hard to see the barrier between interviewer & interviewee. I love the fact that after each question, she actually let them respond unlike most interviews. You can tell she's present with each person she engages, and her questions were hitting!! This felt more like a group friends discussing film after a lecture on film at a creative arts school. You know they smoked as soon as class was over. All the giggling and joking give me "we high AF and we just chilling" vibes. Nobody was standoffish, and everyone had a moment to shine. Which doesn't happen often in group interviews. I've been excited to see this since the first trailer dropped. This might be the first movie this year that I go to the theater for. Jordan Peele don't miss!! 🎯

I think THE most insidious thing about Jordon's movies as well as The Twilight Zone is the fact that he knows how to scare Black people on a level I have yet to see anywhere else. When he and Keegan were talking about how Black folk will say, "That is of the devil.", and just walk away from something so on the nose. It's funny, because it's true. 😂 We don't really mess with that kind of stuff. And from that statement to creating a mazing, and even though I adore AND am extremely proud of him, eff him for that episode about a mom trying to get her son to college episode. He knew what a nightmare that would be for a single Black mom. 😖😨🤬😉🤯😂

Jordan Peele's voice has really changed over time. When he first gotten started on Mad tv he had this nerdy awkward voice. But when he did Key & Peele his nerdy awkward voice still was nerdy but with chilling sense of mysterious and with slight traces of enigmatic nature. Then when he made Get Out his voice became way less nerdy and more mysteriousness and even kind of unsettling. Us came out now that nerdy voice came back but it was more of the loveable kind, and started to be way more deeper. And, now Promoting Nope and his voice became deep as all hell, while still possessing the nerd he was always. He started out as encyclopedia man then ended up as a slimmer Orson Welles.

Going to be real, I have heard that this movie is as advertised. I don't think Mr. Peele wants to be that "director that always brings a deeper meaning" You are about to see a block bluster-style alien invasion horror movie where the only evil this time is the real monsters. If you go into this waiting and looking for a twist, you might be let down.
