Dirge of Cerberus is a game that had alright gameplay, and a terrible story that feels like an adaptation of one of the developers 12 year old kids ff7 fanfic.

@@joshrobins130 nah, no worse than anything else super weird and old. Ever actually just watched the cutscenes from and old game? Silent hill, resi evil, legit any ff game, those stories are insane and inane. That was basically the entire charm, a fun game, crazy nonsense story and cutscenes, when you take either one of those out the game is far less memorable. For example, a ton of remakes that try to readapt the story to be more current and grounded, and the game is just kinda generic storywise and sure the gameplay is fun, but it already was, now it looks better that's nice but the story is meh bland not meh insanely awesome and unfollowable.

I don't know if the guy narrating writes the script as well but I had to give a chef's kiss to those callbacks, lol. Crisis Core sent me on a brief but very intense Gackt obsession spree back around 2010 😂. Him and Hyde from L'Arc-en-ciel...and VAMPS...and from his solo career. Did I leave anything out? I know he has a lot of bands and projects, lol.

First time I played it I didn’t even know the story of ff7 so that ending crushed my soul I was fully expecting everyone to make it back and live happily. The limit breaks at the end made me feel like I was losing him piece by piece. So yeah, definitely still not over it
