This is clearly not for a beginner. The paper instructions I have do not explain. Very frustrating to get a pre packaged bag and not be able to put it together!

I feel bad for you because it has happened to me independent of this pattern. My advice is to do a couple of beginning pouches first-you can find them on you tube. It is the same idea as this one and will prepare you. Kind of like a prerequisite course in math. Good luck!

I totally agree. Paper instructions are hard to follow and the video goes too fast. I’m not a beginner sewer at all, it’s how they write the instructions

I agree, this is not a beginner bag. Video shows how to assemble but way to fast and i believe there should be helpful hints during the assembly and more about the zipper.

Yes, the size on this new one is just a little bigger and it includes the different strap options and different ways to embellish it like fringe or quilting. This now comes in a fully illustrated and step by step pattern instead of the previous version which had general sewing tips, cutting instructions and then referenced the video for specifics.
