What’s so amazing is that there was no CGI used on the guy who played Dr. Loomis. There was a member of the crew that looked so much like Donald Pleasence that they were able to add enough make up and prosthetic to make it look just like him!

No, didn't happen at the end of H1 or H2 (H2 doesn't exist in this timeline). This flashback is completely original to the story. They did an amazing job... another reason I love Halloween Kills. Especially how they found someone in the crew who looks so similar to Dr. Loomis - a little makeup, and someone else to match the voice. Also, how it's filmed exactly like it's 1978 - same quality, sound, police uniforms, the Meyers house... everything. Remember, since H2 didn't happen - since they're not siblings - and Halloween ended with Michael disappearing, they needed to feel in the gap of how Michael was recaptured.

The Director wanted to differentiate this trilogy from previous movies because they wanted it to show that no one was safe from Michael, even if they didn’t know him. There were also random kills and the sequels you didn’t watch.

I have a soft spot for Halloween Kills. It's not as good as the 2018 one and has a lot of issues but at least it's a logical continuation to where the last movie left off. You get more of Karen, Allyson and Laurie even if they are not really the main characters and more of Haddonfield in general. And it deepens the lore of "The Shape" and kinda confirms that Michael isn't just a guy with a mask. I also loved it's dark and gritty tone. Seeing it on the big screen was very intense. And the soundtrack is so good. But yea the mob plot doesn't really work and a lot of people making lots of dumb decisions. Very curious to know what you guys think about Ends. :>

Great movie imo, kinda sucks how they haven't seen Michael in 40 yrs until when he's on the news they just say, "It's gotta be Michael," as if it was just yesterday. How Lindsay's face got bruised up after she escaped, and of course Michael getting into the house after Karen gets there first is confusing, but yea, the kills are what takes the movie up a notch

This was the first sold out movie at our theater I saw in over 10 years. I seen every SAW there, the last 3 Ghostbusters movies, both sonic movies and even the new child's play and I always got in. I got into Halloween 2018 too and many other movies. When I went with my wife to see Halloween kills-2 days after it premiered- we where stunned to hear it was sold out. But tickets where available for 9:00 so we bought our tickets and headed to Walmart while we waited. We came back to a packed lobby and I'm not kidding when I say that entire group went right into Halloween kills not one person went for any of the other 11 movies being shown. I never saw that before.

I remember my mom, sister, & I went to go see this in the theaters (horror's a thing in our family, especially Halloween/Michael Myers), and afterwards, we were hanging by our cars in the parking lot of the theater. We started smelling smoke nearby and out of.nowhere we started hearing firetrucks sirens blaring nearby. One of my sisters started yelling, as the firetrucks went by, "LET IT BURN! LET IT BUUUURN!" 🤣😂😭. I think one of the restaurants right by the theater had an incident, but the timing of it all had us all cracking up for days. I still laugh everytime I watch this one because of it 😂😂😂...

I just wanna say, go into Halloween Ends with an open mind. It's really different than the rest. But if John Carpenter liked it, and it sorta followed into his original plan for Halloween as an anthology series of films (like Halloween III)... then that's good enough for me. But even if not, it was original, and not a repeat of the same old thing.

what they're doing isnt dumb, the thing is the audience knows things they dont know. Judging from that vantage point is the problem. That and the fact certain things must happen or there's no movie, including the original film. By that logic, Halloween 78 is funny because nothing Loomis does, makes any sense but the story needs him to do those things

So the cool thing is along with JLC Kyle Richards who played Lindsey Wallace came back, she was a kid for the first movie and then she’s also on one of them house wives shows ( and Paris Hiltons aunt ) but it was funny cus all them house wives are all so glamorous and Kyle said she changed her self stoped getting Botox so she could play a Midwestern late 40s early 50s something in this movie !

Evil Dies TONIGHT! Has issues for sure, but the kills are absolutely brutal and I can appreciate it. To the story's credit I do enjoy that with the passage of time this movie really does give you a feel that the whole town has been scarred by Michael. In part it can feel like nostalgic bait, "oh look it's that guy!" but for coming back to the series after such a long time, a trilogy with Jamie Lee Curtis, it feels deserved for me.

You obviously watched the extended cut of the movie because in the original version, Laurie didn’t walk out of the hospital with the knife. The phone was not answered. It was almost implied that she knew something happened to Karen. The theatrical version only showed Michael, after killing Karen, phone ringing, , standing in the window with a voiceover from Laurie.

I loved this movie when i saw this in theaters. When he came back after that beat down i was like …… wow!!! Interesting facts: • Jamie Lee Curtis, Charles Cyphers, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens, and Nick Castle were all in the original Halloween (1978) and all returned for this sequel. The characters of Tommy Doyle and Lonnie Elam from the original also returned, but were recast with Anthony Michael Hall and Robert Longstreet, because Brian Andrews has retired from acting since 2015, and Brent Le Page never acted again after the original Halloween. • Ross Bacon, who played uncredited mental patient named Tivoli in both Halloween (2018) and this film, passed away before the release of the sequel. R.I.P. • Halloween (2018) was released 40 years after Halloween (1978). Halloween Kills (2021) was released 40 years after Halloween II (1981). Halloween Ends (2022) is set to be released 40 years after Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982). • Kyle Richards (Lindsey Wallace) broke her nose filming the fight scene with Michael. She didn't tell the crew about it until later, wanting to finish filming the scene herself. (What a trooper) • Lindsey Wallace is the only person, other than a Strode (in the new canon timeline), to face off against Michael and survive. She also successfully manages to hide from Michael while being pursued, something not even Laurie did in the original. • Karen's death is a composition of many camera set-ups, and fast edits to imply violence rather than show it explicitly. The sequence was choreographed as an homage to Marion Crane's death in the Alfred Hitchcock's classic Psycho (1960), who was portrayed by Janet Leigh. Leigh is Jamie Lee Curtis' real-life mother.

Because of this movie being SO misleading lead to why people didnt like "ENDS" the entire movie they wanted to pump it into your brain that Michael was this "Evil" entity just to discard it and in "ENDS" just say "nah he was just an average MAN!" .....yea that got shot 6 times, stabbed, walked THRU FIRE!?, GOT SHOT, lost 2 fingures, fell from the 2nd story house, got stomped on the head and AMBUSHED by the people of the town yet they wanted us to THINK in "ENDS" that he was just an average MAN!? smh yea the franchise went to crap years ago. 2018 was the last one to many fans of the franchise.

While it's definitely a Flop in my book, I can appreciate your reasoning for giving it a Pop. Story was definitely a let down after 2018, but Ends made me, semi-appreciate this movie, a smidge more but for now...🤐. Plus, when you have Resurrection as the only Flop in the franchise, every movie is a Pop next to that. Haha! If Kills is a Flop for me, Resurrection was a Flop-Floppity-Flop-Flop-Flop. 😂We can at least be thankful this movie gave us the best movie chant ever! Evil Dies Tonight!

What connections from other Halloweens did we have except for Laurie n Dr. Loomis? I mean H2O literally might be the only example you could give of that from all the halloweens you’ve watched on this channel. Nobody goes to see Halloween movies for nobody else BUT Michael and Laurie if she’s in them. Oh n people really gotta stop watching horror movies n saying what they would n wouldn’t do. There are plenty of people who freeze up, panic or make the wrong decision then die everyday n I’m sure they didn’t plan to die that day.

The 2018 trilogy is basically a greatest hits of everything you saw already in the OG movies lol. They literally just took all the ideas from the past moves an did them over. This movie is pretty bad overall but The performance of Myers & the kills were fantastic. The recreation of Part 1 in the beginning of this was well done to. problem with this trilogy is the narrative makes less & less sense as you get to Kills/Ends.

Like the water element on the periodic table...lots of youngins call it H twenty lol but I was about 10 when it was released and I bugged my dad to take me to the theater to see it....he ended up waiting till I was 11 and rented it. Don't love this movie, but it's always fun to watch you guys react to horror. Be warned, while it has its fans, the next one kills all forward momentum that 2018 and Kills started. Not sure what they were thinking with Ends, but to say I found it disappointing would be an understatement.

The theme of this one is the monster has turned the townspeople - the village, if you will (Karen uses a literal pitchfork) - into the monsters. A lot of people criticize this, but I really enjoy it. The stupid townspeople, as usual.

Yeah Deputy Hawkins SHOULD be dead. The doctor stabbed him in the neck and drove over his body with his own patrol car. But... they brought him back because hey, this movie is completely stupid
