Outside of Rotterdam, nobody cares about Feyenoord. The conference league is also a very small league. The final consists of the fifth of Italy (B-country) and the third of the Netherlands (C-country). It doesn't represent shit.

I went to a league game again Brest in December. Never experienced anything like it. The noise in that stadium is deafening, regardless of the occasion or the opposition. They are football mad, so intimidating. Crowd trouble has been particularly problematic this year in France after all the fans being locked up for nearly two years during the Pandemic.

I have only ever visited Marseille once, it is definitely rough round the edges and very deprived and run down in many parts, but at the same time there is so much charm and there were still some beautiful historic districts with lot of beauty, I especially loved the old port and the Citadel and the historic Notre Dame Basilica at the top of a winding road which gives you great views of the entire city, and also I met some very down to Earth friendly people, which you often get less of in more affluent cities. Would have loved to have visited a game at The Stade Velodrome but I went in July so there were no games on.

Amazing video, I was there in the away end. The French police where the worst, before the match they shot teargas into the fanzone they created because people where trying to seek shelter for the thunderstorm. During the match they tear-gassed us multiple times and we couldn’t get away. After the match we had to wait 3 hours to leave the stadium because only small groups where let through every few minutes. It’s not good from our fans to throw fireworks at the stewards but they really handled it in one of the worst ways possible, a lot of our fans weren’t even in the stadium on time for the kick-off because they had to walk to the stadium through the bad weather while being chased bij Marseille ultra’s and police. We have really been treated inhumanely compared to how the Marseille fans where treated in Rotterdam. Being through to the final did make up for these things obviously 🔥

I am a supporter of Feyenoord since I can remember I am so happy that we are in an European final again. I wish it would have been the final not because Feyenoord won or anything but Marseille is one of or not the best club supporters wise and that in a big stadium with half of it with Marseille fans the other with Feyenoord fans would have been awesome
