8yrs already?! Damn! I knew the voice in music but didn't know the face connected to it at the time. In 1984 I was 7yrs old at The Geneva Drive-in next to The Cow Palace (San Francisco/Daly City) to watch Gremlins.... Purple Rain was on the left screen. I tried watching the movie for kids but when you see a man sliding his fingers up a woman's panty line, it's kinda hard to look away. I figured out all that stuff all that stuff later but Prince taught me that "finger slide and it NEVER failed me. I appreciate his musical genius but I have a deeper appreciation for him than most. R I.P. Prince.

My Prince CD's are precious to me. They are at the top of my CD stacks. I loved his music then, and love his music now. From time to time I put his CDs in my Bose, crank it and clean like a crazy lady. RIP Prince. You are never forgotten.
