Fans Pay Tribute to Michael Jackson 15 Years After his Death | News9

Fans gathered to honor pop icon Michael Jackson on the 15th anniversary of his passing. Lionel Taplin, a fan from Los Angeles, expressed, "His legacy is still here. He's truly the one and only king of pop." Glendale Mayor Elen Asatryan noted, "People from all over the world have come together to celebrate his life and legacy." Special flower arrangements from China, Ireland, Italy, and Iran adorned Forest Lawn’s Great Mausoleum, where Jackson is laid to rest. Photos and personalized messages lined the pathway, and June 25 was officially recognized as Michael Jackson Remembrance Day in Glendale.
