Yea I think there was an issue with the handle for the targetmaster. Fanstoys supposedly will be sending out "adapters" to fix the issue. What a weird oversight haha.

Damn, that's some INVOLVED transformation, and I struggled with ROTF Leader Prime when i first got him 14 years ago (christ, it's been THAT long...). I can't help but admire the skill that goes into designing these figures. It should come with an engineering degree in the box, 'cause i feel like you need one just to transform it, never mind _design_ it.

I'm gonna be real, after so many years I am just, utterly exhausted with third party Masterpiece-alikes. I love that you're still passionate about it, emgo, but I can't really be anymore. The closest I've gotten is seeing stuff like Fans Hobby's takes on the UT, which is a breath of fresh air after years of seeing G1 and combiners regurgitated ad nauseum

The Targetmaster handle- I seem to remember a scene in the cartoon where Scourge is holding the handle with the gun underneath his hand (kind of like a giant joystick) might it fit that way?

Been looking forward to this figure for some time after being very impressed with FT Cyclonus. Agree the transformation seems overly fiddly, especially when compared to the studio 86 figure which is not a bad scourge. I was waiting for your review as Im at that age now where i struggle to follow the instructions sometimes for these figures and really love the JTF videos. Will definitely be getting this one.

Nah, TMReviews showed it doesn't fit upside down either. It's completely the wrong length and tab size compared to the regular rifle.

Another great review and another video guide that was very helpful with transformation. Your guides and reviews are my go to manuals when I get stuck. Thanks again for your help once again with an alt mode flip. The alt mode is fantastic in hand. FT is sending out replacement parts for the TM after CNY. They definitely dropped the ball on this TM tho 😒

Are you sure there’s not another handle that folds out from the grey sections of Fracus? Because even if he could hold it by that black handle, the gun would be upside down from how it’s supposed to be.

Thanks for the review Emgo, Scourge models never really floated my boat anyway but after watching your review I've decided not to purchase, due to scourge not being able to securely hold its targetmaster properly.

Looks incredible, I love how the gun fits under the nose, seems like the right place for it. It is not just you having problems with the Target Master, everyone does. For some reason, they misaligned the handle. I don't know why people have issues with the face, it really looks like Scourge to me. One thing I do have issue with with G1 Transformers in general, what's with the facial hair? Scourge, Wreck Gar, Alpha Trion... amongst others have facial hair. How do they grow it, their faces are metal!? Do they have metal-fibre follicles or something?

An update! I just got my copy from ShowZ. Seems like they delayed later batches to resolve the issue with the Targetmaster. The tabs on the handle has been moved down so it fits securely in hand. If you have the first batch, you can probably contact where you purchased (aside from Ebay) and ask for a replacement part (will require punching pins out), or for a replacement Targetmaster.

I always thought how floro deri nailed Dracula's design in scourge and that toy captured it. Edit. Is a parts former, were all the parts are connected with little hinges 😢

Parts-formers are where you have to take it apart to transform it, especially if the parts serve no purpose in other modes. Scourge has always been a bit of a Shell-former since his transformation is like a cocoon...
