I'm amazed nobody had made a Blaster and/or Soundwave with real functionality. Making them bluetooth speakers should be doable.

A working Soundwave is out there, rare and doesn’t transform.

There is also a Soundwave MP3 player, which does transform unlike the old cassette player. It came out a few year ago now so no Bluetooth.

That transformation seems needlessly complicated in sections (specifically the feet). I realise that transforming into a box is probably going to involve flipping out some panels (though some older Soundwaves seem to avoid this), but that heel spur transformation is just taking the mickey. No need for it to have so many small pieces and hinges.

The transformation isn't as bad as the Fans Toys official video made it look, but I don't think this is enough to replace my DS not Blaster. It looks toon accurate to a fault on those derpy looking shoulders and I'm just not a fan of that head sculpt. Great review though.

I thought exactly the same thing about the shoulders when I first got mine. I’ve no problem at all with the proportions, I think it looks incredibly toon! But man if those shoulders were up just 2mm even, it might e made all the difference.

I like the upper body transformation but the alt mode kills it for me because It tries to mimic the g1 toy boom box mode but since I can still see the core block, I’m hurting while looking at it. Still good review.

Fast Forward(Rewind) I felt was far superior to their Frenzy and Rumble. I have KFC’s, Deformation Space, and This one. I have to say they all have qualities that I appreciate! I can’t wait for the other MMC tapes though. Great Review as always Emgo!!! Thanks man keep up the good work!😊

Is it blush comparable though? G1 blasters left arm was shaking a bit in the comparison. It seems like the fan toys version of the toys are better than some of the newer mainline toys because my brother has kingdom blaster and this is better in my opinion THE BOOMBOX MODE IS SO GOOD

I finally fell in cartoon-accuracy vibe, but I'll be keeping my toy-accuracy era MPs anyway because they were already awesome. That said, though I really love my KFC non-Blaster, it has gone back to his box and Recorder is now in the shelf. I really hate FT transformations but that's the price you have to pay for accuracy, and I really don't transform my MPs so I cannot care less. Fast Forward will stay in the box, KFC's will still hold the seat until MMC releases a non-Rewind. My biggest issue with this figure is the lack of functional heels, which is really annoying in such a solid mold.

I'm a Generations' guy anyway. MPs are beautiful but I enjoy the simplicity and smart engineering of actual toys more than collector's figures.

23:25 g1 toy has the buttons centered FT moved the buttons with the door off center. Imo make box mode look wierd. I think DS just looks better.
