Yes it is worth visiting HCM also if you enjoy city vibes and souvenir shopping. It has historical significance and many places relevant to vientam war. Sapa is also good if u want peace and me time.

@@chiragdesai1542 we spent about half hour at the peak. It takes around 2 hours to reach there by the fastest mode.

@@pratikbunty we didn't see any currency shops there, but ATMs are there. We checked few and only one worked. So, it's better if you take it from Hanoi itself

I have a question about the hotel booking in sapa you shown in this video. Did you book the hotel from previous day? Or they gave you early check-in on that day, as hotels check-in times are usually from 12pm or 2pm. In case of early check-in, what visitors should do (to visit fansipan peak) with their luggages/baggages if hotel don't give early check-in?

We booked most hotels before beginning the trip. Luckily the room was available for early check-in. Yes usually hotels have that policy of 2pm, but depends on the season of tourists rush. If you don't get early check-in then u can safely keep ur luggage with the hotel only and take out imp stuff to carry. Also they let u freshen up if u reach early as that's a common issue among travellers there. So don't worry, u can contact them and let them know of ur plans. Best time would be between November to April when rainfall is less. Prices might be a bit higher in December around Christmas. If you visit a hill station like Sapa, it might be chilly. Different parts of Vietnam have different weather conditions but overall Nov to April is good.

If you begin trekking from Tram-Ton trail( at the start of the Love Waterfall ) it is 11.2 KM till the peak. If you take a cable car, there are 600 stair steps further to reach the top. If you take a cable car and monorail ride, you directly reach the top.
