There is one copy of the Fantail indicator in TradingView by a contributor named bixford. It's called "Bixord: FantailVMA." I made a copy of it so I can edit it in PineScript and added the following two lines of code down at the very bottom: plot(MA + atr(14), color=color.gray, linewidth=1, title="+1 ATR") plot(MA - atr(14), color=color.gray, linewidth=1, title="-1 ATR") That gives you a 1 ATR channel above and below the baseline. If you haven't tried playing around with the Pine Editor, this would be a perfect easy little project to see how simple it is to customize indicators in TradingView. Waaaaay more easy than MQL! I'm not even remotely considered a programmer.

Thanks again, VP, I've already replaced my algorithm baseline with this one after backtesting the recommended pairs. Also, this beats my exit indicator to the punch most of the time, but not all. Just something to think about for those still searching for a decent exit! EDIT: I have to qualify my first statement--I ran across this on the Stonehill blog late last night which gave me the time to test it before you posted here.

The reason why 99% retail forex traders fail is based on the lack of confidence of their trading system ( whatever it is, whatever financial instrument and trading style), that lead first to not accepting losses or not taking them and therefore badly managing the winners, as Mark Douglas said most of traders will never overcome this problem but by building their own algorithm and testing it, even not perfectly, should help them to resolve this matter step by step.

The thing about the Guppy is sure it's not the best trading indicator but that's because it has another role. Mild-mannered trading indicator by day, at night it transforms into _The Amazing Super-Guppy_ and goes forth into the mean streets to prove that _crime does _*_NOT_*_ pay_

Guppy system is good, Backtested it on almost all major cryptos on D1 frame, with stand alone entries and exits, not using ATR, it gives 50% win rate

I've had a pretty huge success building my algo for daily timeframe... Now I'm focused on building algo for h4 timeframe and after a lot of backtestings, i found out forex pairs aren't really good to trade on a h4 timeframe.. Please anyone who's had success building one, i might need some help. Already built a solid Algo for oil and metal on h4 timeframe but i had to give up on forex for now besides I have a pretty good algo for daily timeframe..
