I'd take: 1. Mac Miller - for his vulnerability, overall music ability and deep personal themes which I could really relate to. He drove me threw the hardest times. 2. Nas - The GOAT of the game, dropping some really good stuff even deep into his 40's. Sympathetic humble man with great storytelling, flow and some of the most definitive catalogs. 3. JID - Currently one of the best rappers in the game with three really nice albums I could bump on every day. The Forever Story should have won that damn Grammy. Let's see what is about to come. 4. 2Pac - I feel his presence even after those years he's not here and I wasn't even alive in the 90's! Really motivating and really interesting human being. He showed me how to be more confident and stand for what I love.

Okay but for real i actually love Macklemore hear me out..... I obviously don't think he's one of the greats I'm not an idiot but i do think he's massively underrated because he broke through with a meme song so everyone thinks of him as that but that first album had some really good songs with meaning and heart and he won a Grammy. Then on the FIRST song of the second album he made the stupid mistake of thinking he was bigger than he was and making a song dissing the media making the media hate on the album before a song even came out and he therefore got continued to be seen as a meme. Now he does have some memey songs and some songs that are aren't great but he has many great songs over his albums that have important messages and important meaning that don't get listened to cos of his reputation....... Its a shame and i think he simply deserves higher recognition than he gets
