There’s a video somewhere on KZbin of her in this almost mockumentary style video about her as an artist, i recommend giving it a watch bc it is so funny. She really is a goose through and through.

While I am sad that I won't be able to see a Lingua Ignota show for the first time, I am more than happy to see a Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter show, and am glad she's made this decision for her own wellbeing.

I was blessed to see this woman perform under Lingua two times, both changed me, broke me and rebuilt within. She's spectacular. Probably my favourite performer ever. Hope to see her on the Reverend tour.

Thank you! So glad to see Kristin in a good place. I'll miss the darkness and heaviness of Lingua Ignota, but she deserves to move on and be happy. I was fortunate to see her live 3 times and I will cherish those memories forever. 🖤

I've been to the final shows in London and I'm glad I've been able to witness the end of Lingua. As magical and as important the two albums have been for me, Kristen moving on from them fills me with hope, I'm glad her talent is put to something else.

SAVED! is a powerful album. I cried at the end of the last track. It felt so cathartic. Not yet sure if I consider it her best work but with more listens i'll probably rank it high. Kristin continues to amaze me with her fearless artistry.

I basically just discovered SAVED! and the experience of listening to that album is as intense and profound as anything I’ve listened to. It had me in tears multiple times. I think she’s a genius.

As a non American hearing her talk about this musical tradition is extremely interesting. I wish she made a podcast series of sorts to talk about the project.... also the apocalyptic vibes and the madness feel very adequate in our overall context, unfortunately

Kristin already said she’s retiring her alter ego “Lingua Ignota”, because she doesn’t want to relive the traumas tied to her previous records and the name. It doesn’t cost anything to be respectful to an artist, especially one that’s been through what Kristin has
