The guy @8:34 is Ambrose Burnside. I know, the name is just perfect for the stache. He fought for the Union (The North) (the good guys) during the Civil War. I think he worked up to Major General. He went all over the place, but was known most for commanding the Army of the Potomac, which was hella important. So much so, that the guy who commanded that brigade before him was kicked out of the role by President Lincoln because he was so trash. Burnside was choosen by Lincoln personally to take over the Army of the Potomac. That's pretty dope. He fought in some of the most notable battles (The First Bull Run, the Battle of Antietam, Battle of Fredericksburg), but once he become the commander of the Potomac, he kinda choked. Like, bad. Battle of Fredericksburg is what he's remembered for, because he went 1-on-1 with Robert E. Lee and his crew, and got absolutely demolished. I think the casualties toll on the Union side (Burnside) was like double that of the Confederate side (Lee). Poor guy fell off hard after that. He must have been super embarrassed, because he offered his resignation from the Commander Post like right after Fredericksburg, and he never fully rebounded. Just like most notable generals, I think he went into politics after the war, but don't remember where. Shoutout Mrs. Turner for being the best History Teacher on the face of the earth. The fact that I know this stuff is still crazy, but she made that ish fun. Otherwise, I wouldn't know anything about my guy Burnside. Shoutout Melon too. Stache is looking juicy. Drake wishes.
