Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.
At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.
“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.
Slated for release on November 16, 2018, the film will be distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Robert Phillips if you have read the books, dumbledore himself tells harry that he feared to meet grindlewald because when ariana died, grindlewald, dumbledore and aberforth were dueling and she got hit and she died. Dumbledore feared if grindlewald knew who gave final blow and maybe if it was dumbledore who actually killed his sister. That was the last time they saw eachother. Even dumbledore’s boggart is his sister’s corpse.

I remember reading this somewhere. It is because American audiences have a lower understanding of English as a whole, and therefore they may not understand the usage of Philosopher in the title. Therefore, they distributed copies of the book with 'Sorcerers' stone instead so that it can be more easily understood. Its a bit weird, I wouldn't expect them to change the title of the damn book but they did...

He used & saved both of them. Well, I'm guessing on Newt, but Harry seemed fine with his relationship with Dumbledore. In fact, it made Harry the wizard he become. He didn't choose Harry, Voldy did. I'm guessing Newt needed a little push. And no matter what Dumbledore says about not being able to move against Grindewald, we know it comes down to those two in the end.

Some people hate this movie but as a person who watched the film many times just to get the fulfillment I want, I could say this movie was made perfectly. Crafted gently and Amazingly. Some are asking what were the crimes Grindelwal made. Its just simple. Aside from escaping from the jail and killed the guards killing that small family, killing Irma Degurd through that Auror, being a Lier the evil plan the he made is what this movie really successful. With the used of his followers and through his Silver Tongue he was able to made a trap and convince people about his Goal. See? Thats what makes the movie so unique. I congratulate J.K for being a very excellent story teller. Those who didnt appreciate lost the opportunity to see the beauty of this film.
