It's not really that they can give the rights back, they just have to let them expire by not making movies. Daredevil went back to Marvel since Fox didn't touch him since 2003, and FF managed to stay with Fox with that cheap cheesy movie in the 90's - doesn't have to be big budget or successful, any movie will let them keep the rights for a while. Before the reboot was made, Disney gave Fox the choice of letting Daredevil expire or giving back Galactus and Silver Surfer instead, and they kept hold of the latter, so they must have seen potential in the license. How that now stands after a failed reboot and negative early reviews of X-Men Apocalypse is yet to be seen.

Hell you forgot to mention the damn thing was barley 90 minutes long so it is not a wonder they had not time to do anything of substance. The final product looks like they were desperately searching for material just to stretch it to the length they made it to in the end let alone have enough to make it over 2 hours. The official run time of the film is 100 minutes and 10 of that is the credits and I bet every person listed in the credits wishes they were not.

This has to be your worst review. If you don't want to try don't even make a review. Seriously Joe, should have just made a discussion video instead of passing this off as a review. You could barely remember key facts from the movie. That being said, the movie was just ok. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. First half was great, but the other half is where the problems start. Pacing was off, dialogue in the last few minutes was cringe worthy (especially the last line), etc. Overall this deserved at least a 6.5 out of 10.

Just curious did you see the movie? If you haven't, you shouldn't really have mentioned critic review scores. I hate how people rely so much on them. I don't care about most critic reviews especially for a movie like this that a lot of people wanted to fail simply because they think Marvel will magically get the rights back over night or something. MoS, for example was a great movie that critics blasted for a bunch of dumb reasons and half of them still don't understand the new take on Superman. With this movie, it has its flaws sure, but it wasn't flat-out unwatchable like everyone is making it out to be. I doubt a sequel will come, but they did announce one long time ago. A part of me is interested in seeing what they can do to make the franchise better now that the groundwork is sort of there. And then another part of me never wants another FF4 movie to be made because they aren't that interesting to me and we have enough superhero teams anyway.

well i only saw the 2 around when i was a kid, they were ok and also i didn't see that many marvel films then it was either hulk, spider man or this(which i have seen all 3), and plus it does have some well known actors, nowadays if i had a choice to watch it, i probably would watch it but if you relate it to nowadays films i agree it doesnt stand a chance, but still, i would rather watch the originals to this reboot(despite i haven't seen the reboot still) everyone has there different tastes and there own opinions :)
